Burton makes sure you’re fully bonded.
You might think you're locked, stocked, and smoking, but until you zip up the Burton Men's Bonded Full-Zip Hooded Wordmark Sweatshirt, you're not fully licensed to thrill. Burton constructed the Bonded Wordmark hoody with its hard-surface DRYRIDE Thermex fleece for warmth, breathability, rapid drying and durability, so you can wear it on mild days on the mountain, layer it under a shell, or jam around town in comfort and style.

This jacket makes my back hair happy. In all seriousness though, this jacket is great. I have the plaid style and boy does it get some attention. I am not a fan of conforming by any means but I think 99% of the people that I work with told me the jacket looks awesome. Other than style, this thing works great as a thrown on jacket for those "balls cold" days. It blocks the wind pretty well and keeps the warmth in. I've taken this out on the slopes too and it has managed to work just as well as my shell. Bottom line, Want style while walking your ferret or hitting the slopes? Then get this jacket, or at least a different style.
What is the lenght of the hoodie (size...
What is the lenght of the hoodie (size small or medium)? What about the measurement from armpit to armpit? Just wondering cause I'd like to get this for my boyfriend for xmas. He's usually medium, but this hoodie sounds a bit roomier.
Hey Sofia... describe your boyfriend a bit and I can help you figure out the sizing.
Its not that roomy, however I do usually rock a X-large hoodie but in this I take a large because I wear it under my snowboard coat! (for reference, i'm 6'0" and 195lbs -- athletic type build)
Will he be layering it or just chilling in it?
Thanks for the quick answer! He is quite slim, about 180 cm tall, I think that's about 5,9 in ft? And he weighs about 170 pounds. He's quite athletic too so even though he's got a slim waist, he's got a pair of shoulders too. :)
I think that the hoodie would be used in several ways, under his jacket while snowboarding mostly, but also during summer as a top layer, etc. I think that it should be quite snug, but not super thight. I'm also kind of worried about the lenght of the sleeve..
I measured one of his hoodies that is perfect size-wise and the lenght is 26 inches, armpit-armpit is 22 inches and sleeve is also 26. What you think?
Oh, and thank you so much for helping me!

I got my boyfriend this sweatshirt for his birthday and he wears it everyday. It looks really good because it is a snug fit. He has been wearing it on its own on the days when it is cold, and he says it's perfect because it is not only warm, but waterproof. On the nights it got below freezing he layered it under his Burton jacket and it fit perfectly. He said it was also really warm and comfortable. Great buy for the price!
Anyone know what the sizing is like on...
Anyone know what the sizing is like on this? With some Burton stuff I have to go a size down.
OK, so I got both a medium and a small. I am 5' 7" at 160 lbs. The medium was ok, but there was a lot of extra fabric in the belly area. When bending my knees it crinkled up in a way that made me look like I had a raging hard-on. I am returning the medium and going with the small, although I liked the length of the arms on the med better than the small.
My bf is 6 feet and 185 pounds, I got him the medium which is the same size he always wears in Burton. It is a perfect fit. He didn't have the problem of it crinkling up like ido2963006, but I think that is because he is a little taller so it hit higher.
