Give your kid's hands the weather protection and warmth they need with the Burton Boys' Gloves.

The Burton Boys' Glove makes life on the mountain easier and warmer. Grippy Toughgrip palms make binding adjustments a cinch, and Thermacore insulation takes a bite out of the cold. These highly water-resistant gloves feature Dryride Ultrashell water-resistant inserts to keep the snow from getting your boy's hands wet. Full-length gauntlets with drawstring closures keep powder from filling these gloves when your grom takes a digger in the freshies.

Size issue

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

Ordered the large for my 8 year old son. He has normal sized hands, but the fingers on the gloves were maybe half the length of his fingers. Returning and shopping for a different model... Seems like these were made for a toddler.

Cold kid fingers

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought Larges for my 10yo, and they fit good. His fingers were "freezing" on a 5 degree day on the slopes and he had to go in multiple times to warm up where the rest of us did not. 28 degrees a day later and I'd still say his hands were cold. IMO, I'd say you're hands should be almost too hot on a day that warm, and his clearly were not. Maybe he's just disposed to having cold fingers, but we're returning and going to give mittens a try. We're going to stick with Burton, though, because I like the construction of these, and while his fingers weren't warm enough in the gloves, they were definitely dry.

True to size

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these for my 5 year old in a large. They are a bit big, but I wanted room to grow. Haven't had much snow as of yet to put them through the wringer, but so far they look pretty durable.
