DRY-HIDE???

Not as advertised. Bought these for my 10yr for sking. Thank goodness we played in the snow at home before we skiing. My son said his hands were wet and cold, when i checked inside, it was soaked.

Not as advertised

I purchased three pairs of these gloves for my kids and then took them skiing. Within a couple of hours all three were complaining that their hands were wet and cold. "Dry-ride" is a joke. I had expected a superior quality product from Burton but was extremely disappointed. I returned them and bought the Spyder Whistlers with gore-Tex. Will never buy Burton again. Don't waste your money --- product is not as advertised!

Hard to dry out

They do not breathe well. Once gloves get wet they take forever to dry out the inside even infront of the wood stove. Plan on having 2 pair if you go out and ride the next day. Maybe the gore-tex version would be better?

My son is 14years old and the sizing is a little confusing. What would be better youth xl or mens small?any help please?

sorry i was talking about the burton gloves for my question.lol

The small sizing is this 3.25" [8.25cm]. Measure his hand to see if this is the right size.

The sizing chart on this page is broken down by age. XL = boys 12-13 years old. So, I imagine your 14 year old will probably want to go with an adult size glove. Below you'll find the URL for the men's equivilant of this glove. If you click the sizing chart button on that page, it will tell you to measure the width across your knuckles to determine size. good for all

my son loves this gloves, they are warm for school and even good for the mountain.
Drawstrings are a bit larger than usual but I guess that is a good thing for kids.
I liked the water repellent grade on these gloves as I do not like my son to be cold after a couple of snowballs thrown.

Awesome

My son loves these. They are warm, and look great. They do get a little wet and are difficult to dry though.

Not so good for my 10-year-old

My son had trouble with the liner in the pinky. It came out of place and he could never quite get it back into the shell of the glove.

just fine for us...

We only used these over a weekend but them seemed just fine. I bought my 10 year a size large which are a little big but give him some growing room. We didn't have any problems with ripping but maybe it's different since he skis and they were a little big. My son really liked to the look and they seemed to keep his hands warm.

not recommended

We were happy with the hat and jacket but the gloves were not at all satisfactory. Both thumbs ripped and thus are not to functional anymore. We think they ripped when he carried his board but we are not sure.

Average gloves.

Great fit but not very warm. OK for a snowball fight but not warm enough for a ski day.
