a great sweatshirt...
I love Burton stuff..This is another great sweatshirt. I really like the arm vents, that you can zip open or closed. The more you wash it, the softer it gets..
I concur that this sweatshirt is a little small, but I still got the "right" size and it fits fine, just not for layering. It's plenty warm for shredding in the spring and wearing around. It's REALLY cozy and soft inside. The patch is ultra-funky and kind of fun, while the zippers on the sleeves are kind of random, but cute.
Pretty on Paper
This sweater is very pretty yet tough looking on the hanger, but once you put it on it is very boxy. It holds tight around the shoulders and chest too, so movement in this one feels restrained. If it had a bit of shape to it, I'm sure it would have been a favorite.
Love the sweatshirt!
This sweatshirt is so comfy and warm! I have the black one, and it looks great, especially with the vents open. As you know from the other reviews, this product runs a size smaller than what the tag says. I usually border on a small/medium, and the medium was a little small for my like. I was able to fit into it but I could really feel the tightness when I tried to bend my elbows. Also, it fit snug in the same manner as if I wear a t-shirt. I exchanged it for a large and that is much better. Fits perfect and not too long or too baggy. I can easily layer another shirt or so under. Get an extra large if you really want to layer (multiple shirts).
Sweet but small
I agree this does run small. I got a large and can only wear a very thin or silk base layer underneath. Although it makes up for running small in style!! Way to go!!
Cool sweater, however, it runs small. If your planning on layering underneath I suggest getting two sizes up. I bought a large thinking it would be big enough to layer but it was too small. I usually don't wear an extra large but had to upsize since I plan on wearing thermals and a thin fleece underneath the sweater, and it now fits just right. If there was a XXL I would have bought it but for now this will do and hoping it doesn't shrink much because it is a cool looking sweater. Therefore, I give it a 4 since in runs small.
