  • DryRide Eco-Durashell two-layer is a durable, waterproof breathable fabric that's crafted with eco-friendly materials and a DWR coating
  • Quad Package Trail Mapping features strategically placed recycled taffeta lining and waffle fleece for targeted comfort and warmth for your comfort
  • Zippered hand pockets positioned higher provide quick-access to essentials, even when wearing a pack
  • Removable waist gaiter with jacket-to-pant interface seals out the cold and snow
  • Burton jacket package features: underarm zip vents, interior zip pocket, articulated sleeves, under hem Flash Pass pocket, an internal media and mesh goggle pocket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great jacket, warm, and a great fit. i got an xl (6'2, 190lbs) for the added room, and i can easily get a hoodie under it and move freely for the moutains. looks cool too!

Bit Large

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Bought for a teenage son. He loved the color and the style on the web site, but when we got it, he was swimming in it. We went with a smaller, lighter coat in a totally different style. The quality of this Burton coat appeared to be great. The sealed zippers were impressive and notable. I could have seen him keeping it if he were snowboarding this year.

Good coat. Lighter than expected.

Hi All,
I bought the Burton Briggs as a gift for a buddy. The coat looked pretty awesome online and I was not disappointed when I got it. I got him a large, but BEWARE because the size runs a bit big. I am 5'11" and 160 lbs; the Large was too big and a Medium fits just right for a person my size. The coat is nice and has a lot of cool features for the price including 6 pockets (that I've found so far). As mentioned in the title, the coat is a bit "lighter" than I thought it would be. If planning to wear the coat on the mountain as a ski/snowboard jacket, you'll most likely have to wear under garments to keep warm. Great medium weight jacket for moderately cold temperatures.

Simple yet technical jacket

Great Jacket Shell, Bitters color is much lighter than pictured. Lots of sewing and technical details that make this jacket way kool.
Gave it to Hubby for Xmas and he loves it and he is fussy!

Heavy, bulky jacket

This appears to be a well-constructed, sturdy jacket. Unfortunately, it's much more bulky around the middle than it looks in the picture. I'm 5'9", about 160 lbs, and ordered a large. It was about right in the shoulders, but was way too baggy around the middle. I felt like I was wearing a huge garbage bag. The coat is really thick, so I think not much layering would be required unless you snowboard in blizzards. I'm not, however, looking for such a heavy jacket. I would rather layer with several thin layers. So, I sent the coat back and purchased a Burton Atmore which fits much better.
