Burton came up with the Women’s Escapade Snowboard Binding during its quest for the most anatomically correct and precise fitting binding around. Surely there are some millimeters to be changed before Burton accomplishes this task, but the Escapade is ridiculously close. Of course, the plush, lightweight Cored Ultrastrap Air ankle strap eliminates all pressure points. Plus, the Escapade gives you a FullBED cushioning system and B3 heel padding to soften any landing.
Bottom Line: There’s not such thing as a too-comfortable binding.
I can't find the bolt pattern for my 07 ride Solace board, but I think its a 4x4 bolt pattern. Can anyone comfirm that these bidnings will work with my board?
They are lightweight and plated aluminum smooth glide buckles. The buckles are designed and built by Burton not bought at some shady supplier like so other manufacturers use :) haha...
Buttery smooth and very reliable ratcheting power!

Love these! What a difference I felt between my old bindings and the Escapades. The responsiveness of these bindings made the contact between my boots and board effortless. Sweet for fast riding! A little stiff in the park, but awesome none the less. The only downside is the four hole binding mounts. No padding?... Not cool Burton!
The stiffer a binding is the faster the response. If you move the binding moves then your board moves. If the binding and board are soft, then you'll have a little give when moving your feet around.
Different people like different bindings. Some people love stiff bindings to jib, and some like soft. It is all personal preference.
These are probably great for burton boards. But if your board has 4 hole binding mounts, you have to use the non-padded puck. The padding is only on the 3 hole (burton triangle pattern) mount. That was kind of a nasty surprise after reading such good reviews.
Also, the toe strap didn't really "cup" the front of the boot like the lexa/mission ones do.
it's weird, i see such good reviews of these on lots of sites, but they weren't right for a lib tech board and non-burton boots.
i use these bindings on my lib tech skate banana 151 narrow board and they are perfect. Like the other user had mentioned there is absolutely no difference in the the way the bindings function or the way the boot fits. Try adjusting your toe cap to make the strap more centered on your boot, also this binding has an open toe cap which means that you can wear the binding over your toe like a regular strap, or as a toe cap. Eve
i just got these bindings and both the 3 hole and 4 hole baseplates dont have padding..the whole padding lifts up and you put the baseplate underneath..so really there is no difference
it is not a big deal that the 4 hole baseplate does not have cushioning, you still get the toe and heal cushioning on the binding. I have a libtech board and have used non burton boots in these bindings. I so have burton boots, but non burton boots work just fine as well. just look at the sizing chart when purchasing bindings so you get the ones to fit your boot size.
This is not an ICS or EST system, which uses the Burtons 'Channel' system. They will be fine with the Forum as they have a 4 hole pattern in the baseplate.
I just picked these up for my 151 narrow lib tech skate banana and they are by far my favorite bindings i've ever had. They are very light weight, comfortable, responsive and good quality/ very durable. You won't be disappointed!
i have a Gnu B-Pro Mini BTX ~ 125cm snowboard and my boots are 2003 Burton women Moto, size 4. i was wondering if this binding will fit my board and with no problem for my boots trying to fit into it? i don't want the bindings to be too big for the board that it hangs over the edge, if you know what i mean... Thank you :)
It should be OK, I put women's bindings on JR boards all the time. The best thing you can do is check it out. You'll want smalls, but I have a feeling that the highbacks will be too high for your boots.
i just got these bindings and both the 3 hole and 4 hole baseplates dont have padding..the whole padding lifts up and you put the baseplate underneath..so really there is no difference, both are fully padded.
im not sure the weight of these bindings for sure, but i also have the burton lexa bindings and compared to those these were much lighter! these by far are the lightest womens bindings i have ever owned!
LOVE THESE! I made a major binding upgrade this season, going from burton citizens to escapades! I cant believe I didnt do it sooner. I wear a size 8 in burton boots and I got a medium in these bindings. Perfect fit!
if you wear a size 8 you should for sure be going with the large binding. The medium will work, you will have to adjust the straps make them a little larger and pull out the base plate a little, but a large is a much much better fit. I've had both the large and the medium and i prefer the large.
