‘Comfortable Stiletto’ is not an oxymoron.

About the only thing the Burton Women’s Stiletto Snowboard Binding and a five-inch spike heel have in common is that they’re both designed for women. Unlike the footwear, the binding is all about flex, cushioning, and ergonomics. Even after many hours in this Stiletto you feel no pain, only euphoria and a desire to carve more hours out of your week for riding.

  • Canted asym highback’s ergonomic design mirrors the contours of your left and right legs for a more natural, comfortable connection with your board
  • MircroFLAD gives you tool-less micro-adjustability of the forward lean on your highback
  • 3D curved Primostrap features a triple axis spine and cushy EVA padding for total comfort and response

As much as I hate to say it (due to personal reasons), these bindings did pretty well.
Objectively speaking, they were nice and responsive, definitely durable, and were perfect for my sister - an intermediate-former-rider-getting-back-into-it from a savage accident.
Definitely a solid binding for all levels of riding.
That being said, subjectively speaking, and as hypocritical as it sounds, SUPPORT SMALL BRANDS!! F*** THE DESECRATION AND COMMERCIALIZATION!!!

Not bad Burton..

I've never tried Burton bindings before this and I'd have to say these are pretty good for the price point. I found that you could undo the straps with ease on these and adjusting the straps to custom fit was nice and easy. Good responsiveness. Probably wouldn't buy these personally (got Ride bindings that have held up for 5 seasons), but I'd say this is a good intro binding.

I see a review here that said they have a size 6.5 boot and got the medium. I have a size 6 boot and according to most sizing charts i've seen it seems like i should get the small bindings, correct?

or do i go with the medium? please help!

Ok, so I have a DC BFT and I need bindings for it. Would these work?

Responded on

Yes they will. The disk will fit on any board on the market. Great soft flexing binding.

your favorites

bought these for my crappy board and i love them. theyre super responsive, sexy, and lightweight. the toe cap is the best thing that ever happened. it keeps your boots all snug and cozy in there for total control. love this, and dude its reeeeal cheap. buy themm.

I just bought the burton feather 144 and wear size 8 boots. Should I buy this binding in a size M or size L?

Responded on

I would go with the Medium. A size 8 is right on the cusp of the large and medium, but The medium will fit for sure.

Plastic binding may not be so great!

I purchased this binding for my daughter for xmas 2010. The high-back of the binding broke after her 2nd day. She is a beginner, so she wasn't "shredding" so to speak. Everything else about the binding is great. I have the Burton Lexa binding and I love them! The extra money for the Lexa's is well worth it!

Great Binding for Kids

I can't speak to how this binding might preform for hard core boarders. I can say that as a parent of a beginner it meets all of my criteria....primarily that it's easy to buckle even when packed with snow.

not gunna lie

burtons def. improving these for sure. they're very nice esp for beginners, if I were to suggest something else I would suggest unions, but that's only because i have a huge bias towards them because i love them so much, but these are great bindings, they used to not be so good and i think i wrote a crappy review about them but these newer models are much better!

Make heads turn

Gonna go ahead and say I haven't put these to the test. BUT my cute lil lady friend has them and swears by them. She has a 6.5 boot and went with the Medium bindings on these. The Primo capstrap makes your foot feel like it's at home watching a love story with a bucket of chocolate ice cream. They look more than fresh on her board and I think she might be a better rider than me because of these bindings. Well, that and I lap the bunny hill all day tryin to scope some babes instead of workin on my sweet skills.

Enough about me, let's talk about you. Get the stiletto's, you won't regret it.

The stiletto features Burton's women's specific True-Fit design. Product designed/made for women by women.

The smooth glide buckles are easy in and off, but no hangups. It also has an Eva cushioning on the baseplate, which is made from lightweight polycarbonate. The primo campstrap forms around your boot's toe perfectly.

It has a medium soft flex rating at a 4. Great soft feeling binding.
