I used this lock and it works quite well. Nice and small enough to store in your board jacket without any bulge or extra weight. Only complaint is that if you mess around with it too much the cord can get stuck inside the lock so that it won't go in any farther. Not a big deal as I somehow fixed it, but something to be aware of.

the wire feels kind of plastic-y if that's a word...not worried about it scratching my board at all

Seems to be ok...it almost feels cheap when you have it in your hand but it does the job
