Description

Go from cruiser laps to cornice drops, and everything in-between.

Burton's all-mountain-killing Cartel binding has long since carved out its own spot in snowboard history—the EST version only improves on a good thing. With shock-absorbing padding underfoot instead of a traditional binding baseplate, you get closer to your topsheet for improved board feel. Infinitely micro-adjustable stance options are pretty sweet, too.
  • EST design removes the rigid binding tray from under your foot, allowing your board to flex more naturally (compatible with Burton Channel boards only)
  • AutoCANT SensoryBED dual-density cushioning system aligns your lower body to mirror your stance width for reduced knee strain and better balance
  • B3 Gel Heel Cushioning absorbs shock from choppy runs or overshot landings
  • New single-component Zero-Lean highback with tool-free FLAD dials in your preferred forward lean, from 'absolutely none' to 'instant heelside response'
  • Superstrap ankle strap feels so soft and supple, you'll strap in while watching TV just for the hell of it

These bindings have far exceeded my expectation from any pair of bindings. I've been using Cartels for the past 5 years and have yet to be disappointed. I'm on the hill around 60-80 days a season and I've never had one strap or ratchet break.
The response you get from the Cartels is great. Control your shred stick with ease in the trees but still have enough flex for getting on some rails during the spring.
Truly a do-it-all binding.

and it doesn't get any better. (of course Burton will probably upgrade and update in the years to come)

There's not much to say about these that have not yet been said. Strong, responsive, super-smooth ratchets, comfortable and the EST adds extra points in the function department.

Best all around binding I've ever ridden. Love them setup on my Joystick. The adjustments you can make to the bindings like strap length and where they hit, hiback cant and forward lean, they all rock and are pretty much all tool-less. Yes, EST means it will only work with ICS Burton boards. I highly recommend the combination of ICS board and EST bindings. The feel of the board is ten times better.

Like it says, lots of angles possible. Comfortable on landings.
Looks great.
Straps are durable and easy to do and undo.

Ordered these Cartel EST bindings for a Never Summer board, and was a bit stumped when they came with very little mounting materials. Turns out I made a big mistake by ordering EST bindings for a non-Burton board. A Rookie mistake, but an easy one to make. If you have something other than a Burton board, be sure to order the Flex, not Est, bindings. Ended up getting Burton Diode Flex bindings ............

These bindings are great. The straps are comfortable, the bed is soft and the flex is just right. These bindings are used by pros from just about every other company and there is a good reason for that. If you have never ridden a board/binding with the EST channel, do yourself a favor and locate your closest demo day. You will never look back. Select your size, click add to cart and buy this binding.

I had a previous model of the Burton P1s(still going strong) but when I bought my Jeremy Jones with the est system I decided to give these a try. Absolutely great bindings. The feel that you get is unbelievable. They still soak up vibrations and help out on a hard landing while still giving you the ultimate feel and control. Even Travis Rice uses the Cartel on his board. Awesome binding.

I highly recommend this.

No, EST does not work with 4 hole. Look into the Cartel Re:Flex.
