If you boot is on the slimmer side of the spectrum then go with the medium. If you boot is pretty fat, I would run a large. Usually size medium is the cut off and you should be ok with a medium.

I ride em all over the mountain. Really comfortable, great response, great options to customize your fit. I basically agree with all the other good things that other people have said.

These bindings are excellent. So light and adjustable. My previous bindings were 10 year old NCM's (not even around anymore) and the difference is night and day. With these Burtons my feet feel like they are bolted to the deck, compared to my old bindings. That results in so much better control, it's amazing! Love these things.

The best bindings i have ever used, enough flex and control for everything. Have riden with them everywhere from Mid-Michigan to Mammoth Mountain, California.

"Downgraded" from an older set of P1 Carbons and was skeptical at how well these would perform. I've been blown away by the overall responsiveness of the binding as well as how much more comfortable the straps are while still providing a high level of support. I rocked them on hard pack, some slush and some fresh tree action and didn't feel they were lacking in any situation. Can't attest to any superpark type stuff but overall they're amazing for the price!

I got my cartels late in the season. I've ridden them 5 full days in very different conditions and I got to say that they are amazing in all weather. From fresh powder to the slushy closing day groomers board control and comfort are unparalleled. I am not a park rat so i can't vouch for them in the rails and big ramps, but if you do groomers, hit the fresh powder and do the occasional jump this are the bindings for you.

The only drawback i have found is some ice buildup at the baseplate when you expand it. but that's just a couple of seconds extra of the lift.

I wear 11s in a Large Cartel, and really had to play with the straps to get them to fit. Just FYI.

Yes you can run these on your salomon. It will have the disk in the box to do this. The binding is amazing. It is probably one of the favorite binds on the market by all professional snowboarders.

I have an Arbor Abacus and purchased these bindings. There should be plate that comes with the bindings making it sort of universal for all boards. So far so good with mine and I imagine it will be the same for you. Take care.

What kind??? As in hole pattern or material it is made out of? Hole pattern, there will be a disk in the box that will allow you to place this binding on any board. Material it is made out of, it is polycarbonate(plastic). I hope this helps.

Great bindings. I started the season with two pairs of cartels. A set of 09's and an older set. The baseplate on the older pair blew up and burton replaced with a set of 10's no questions asked. The new ones are sweet. Improvements were made on the baseplate cushion and I love the way the straps feel. Cartels are definitely my favorite binders for all mountain riding and you can't beat the lifetime warranty on the baseplates...1 yr on everything else. Definitely will continue to purchase in the future and recommend to buddies.

i rock these on mine and quite honestly the setup is the holy grail of shreddage. the cartels are light, strong, and respsonive. comes with a lot of forward lean is no need to really increase it.

other than that, buys these, they are worth every penny!!!

Been riding these for 5 years, this is one of the best bindings IMHO on the market. Responsive binding and easy to customize for boot sizing. Love the asym highback and toe caps.

alright so I been doing heavy research because I want to sink a bit more cash into the bindings im gonna buy but they need to be right for me, and ive come down to 2 bindings which are these or the exiles.. I mostly like to hit jumps, small/medium drops, a few rails, and a bit of downhill. 65% of my riding goes to jumps and drops but I do mix up what I ride a little.. So im on the debate of these or the exiles. what is your fact based opinions guys

probably these, they are basically the exiles, just I don't see anywhere on the description of the exiles "B3 Gel Heel Cushioning adds even more padding for huge stomps", and im guessing that is worth the extra 20$, but if you really want to save money or don't care much bout the coushining, it's up to you...

I have these bindings and they've preformed well in the park as well as alpine.

Construction is really good in my opinion. I've put 60 days on them this season and no problems. I had a pair of Unions last season that broke after a dozen sessions.

I tend to beat up my gear as I ride a lot but these have really held up.
