Description

There is such a thing as too baggy.

You’re totally over those ultra-baggy pants. It’s time to slim down a bit with the Burton Women’s Chase Pant. Not only do these Burton pants get fit back inside the realm of reason, they also give you the weather protection of a fully seam-taped Dryride Durashell face fabric and the comfort of a fleece and taffeta lining. Of course, you get the classic features like gaiters to keep snow out of your boots and inner thigh vents to keep you cool on hot spring sessions.

great

i love these pants :) the only thing is is that when they say slim fit, they mean it. whats so great about these pants is that they seem to have a little bit of stretch in them so its not tooo bad

Cool Pant, but sizing wrong

These pants are very cute, love the style and features. The true black with plaid look have just enough flair to out do the basic boring black. I ordered the size medium, even though other reviews said they run big. They do. I am 5'5 130lbs, carry most of my weight in my thighs, but also some in my waist now (30"). The Burton sizing measurements actually put my measurements in a size large - so I hoped the medium would work. I think if I bought a Burton jacket - with the zipper interface they would work and pick up the slack, you could belt them as well - but I bought a Northface jacket. So I bought a small Northface Freedom LRBC pant. Perfect fit, and warm. About as slim in the leg as you can get with an insulated pant. My jacket snaps into the beltloops of the pants. Works great!

Run Large in The Waist

Fit was a little odd and I returned them. The waist was too large and the crotch area a bit baggy. I purchased a medium but certainly a small would have been way to small in the legs. Otherwise these were nice looking pants if you have the body to fit. I'm 5'5" about 120#

I'm about 5'3 and a size 0, would a small be too big?

Responded on

It all depends on how many layers you wear. The more layers you wear the more room you want. So if you wear more than one or two layers a small might be a good idea. I normally wear a medium size in pants but my medium snow pants are a pain in the neck when it comes to layers. Definately go with more room for layers.

Yes, you will need a XS. I wear a small and my pant size is 3.

Recommend a size smaller than normal

These pants were really cute, but the size/cut was a little tricky. I'm 5'6" and about 130lbs, and ordered a Medium. They were enormous; even cinching in the waist 100% didn't help. I think a size Small may have worked, but I ordered another Burton style w/ the Signature fit b/c they were insulated. These pants are not insulated, so plan to wear a tights layer. I was worried w/ tights a Small size could be constricting in the thighs.

I'm skinny, x-small women's size is the best fit, but I have very long legs, 33 in inseam is what I need. Now, if I buy x-small, or even small, they are going to be too short. Any recommendations?

Responded on

The x-small will work for a 33'' inseam. However, make sure you know what fit you tried on in the x-small. Remeber Burton has a Team Fit, a Slim Fit and a Signature Fit. The Chase pant is really cute so enjoy.

I'm tall, what size snowboard pants should I get?

I'm 5'9" and wear a size 3 or 5 in juniors, I bought a pair online the other day in a size small and they were too small/short.

Responded on

you should probably size up to a medium and they will work for length and waist... They do have internal cinches so you can tighten up the waist easily if its too big on the larger size.

Great Style but maybe not baggy enough...

These pants look great and I would normally wear a small but because of the slimming fit on the thighs, if you have anything under these pants, they are too tight and boarding feels a bit uncomfortable. I got a medium and the fit around the legs are better but now it falls off my waist so I just wear a belt. Other than that, the quality is great!

i wear a size 10 in juniors pants because i have big legs should i get a large? and will the waistband gap since my waist isn't a size 10?

Responded on

I would suggest a large! Also, the waistband has an internal velcro cinching system that you would never notice from the outside, but it helps to adjust things so the waist should be fine.

Review Title

Although you say that these are not ultra-baggy, they do run a bit big. Otherwise good basic pair of pants.

So I wear I size 5 junior jean size...what size would fit me? And I'm undecided whether to get the plain black or the blue plaid...any suggestions??

Responded on

Get S or even XS (since you were junior size) and see if it fits, Im between 4-5 myself, got medium pants last season and they were too baggy... I have Burton pants in black and they look very simple and kinda borring, if i were you i would def go with the blue.. ..Im shopping for colorful pants right now too! :)) Go color!! :)
