Description

From the construction to the graphics, the Chicklet is as sweet as candy.

The Burton Girls' Chicklet Snowboard now features the new Flat Top Profile and Easy Rider edge tune to takes the snag and drag out of picture for girls who are just learning to ride. She'll appreciate this ease even more than the ultra-cool graphics.

  • Flat Top profile is primarily flat through the whole length of the board and uses a subtle early-rise rocker at the nose and tail for easier turn initiation
  • Biax fiberglass laminate dishes out just the right amount of response to hold an edge but is soft enough to never buck like a bronco
  • Fly core (on 110cm to 130cm lengths) is light, supple, and perfect for learning the ropes
  • Unreal core (on 80cm to 100cm lengths) uses composite materials to be light, transportable, and take the blow out of cost of repairs
  • Easy Rider edge tune features beveled, catch-free edges to cut down on those surprise slams into the snow
  • Twin shape delivers a centered platform to learn which way you ride
  • Extruded base is easy and cost-effective to repair and requires very low maintenance throughout the season

I am wondering if I should buy a 80 or 90cm board for my daughter. She is currently 2.5yrs old. She is approx 37in tall and 31 lbs. She started snowboarding 3 weeks ago and loves it. I want to buy a board but know she may only use it once more this season. Should I wait until next winter to see how much she grows?

What makes it so perfect is the Easy Rider combo of a catch-free convex base and the softest flex possible so that even the lightest weight riders can master turning and stopping. The flat profile between the feet adds stability for better balance and board control. Attach the Riglet accessory to the nose of the three smallest sizes to tow her around until she's ready to rock bindings.
