Burton Credence Jacket - Women's - 2011

Some old-school-style jackets look like they should have been left back in the old school. The Burton Credence Jacket blends just a bit of retro style with weather-fighting DryRide DuraShell fabric so you can rock a unique shell that doesn't look like a bad revival.

  • 2-Layer DryRide Durashell and taped critical seams keep out the flurries
  • Removable powder skirt means a smooth, no-waist-bulk transition from the slopes to the bars
  • Sig Fit blends a feminine cut with room to move, extra length at the sleeves, and a length that hits most women at the lower-hip
  • Sherpa fleece lining not only gives you next-to-skin comfort, but it also wicks moisture away so you’re warm and comfortable throughout the day
  • Unzip the underarm vents to dump excess heat when you ride hard or hike the peak

Bottom Line: Retro jacket with a modern twist.

LOVE

LOVE this shell/jacket. i paired it with an AK Guide fleece and was super warm in the light snow here in utah yesterday . i got it in an XL (i have big shoulders) in the moss color which is a little grayer then the pic shows. super flattering and comfy with great features! the feel and looks of the "waxed" outer is super cool and has immediate character. i ride 3 to 6 day a week all season and this is my FAVE jacket now (over my patagonia and burton skylar gore-tex). another great burton product :)

I am 5'2" and a size 2. However, I'm a 34"-35" bust. What size jacket would you recommend in the Credence? I'm thinking medium, but is the length and the arm length going to be too long?

I'd go with small if you're normally a size 2.

LOVE THIS JACKET

I actually bought this jacket and the Method.
Returned the Method because this jacket is WAY more flattering. This one also has the light Sherpa on the back which is perfect for wicking away moisture. I can't say enough good things about this jacket. Board in BC, Canada so we have all types of weather, wet snow, rain heavy blizzard snow, it's great for ALL weather. I usually have trouble in the bust area (it usually fits too small), but this jacket is perfect. Not too baggy and not too tight.

I'm pretty short and I have trouble with jackets being too

I'm pretty short and I have trouble with jackets being too long and riding up...I can't figure out how long this jacket is shoulder to waist. Anyone with a size small know?

This jacket sits just below the hip. It is not very long.It should be exactly what you are looking for.

Not true to colors

If you like bold colors to match your bold style I wouldn't recommend this jacket. The risque color showed is more of a burnt dark red in person. I returned it for something more colorful, fun, and attention getting. I feel burton is usually a great company to buy from but this was just a disappointment.

Opening day to End of the season

My fave thing about this jacket is the Waxed coated fabric. It is so so cool the jacket continues to take on new life with each wear. The wax adds extra waterproofing and great conversation in the lift line. Also the sherpa fur lined spine keeps you warm in just the right spot.

And oh my every color is so great I had a hard time choosing. I went with the lady luck color way and have had so many compliments. I truly love this jacket.
