The big-footer's quiver-killer.

The Custom Flying V Wide Snowboard makes all-mountain freestyle riding more fun than ever for dudes with oversized boots. The Flying V hybrid rocker/camber shape and a ridiculously versatile flex keep you in control whether you're ripping bulletproof groomer runs, top-secret pillow lines, or slushy late-season park laps.
  • Flying V hybrid rocker/camber shape places camber underfoot with rocker in-between and in the tip-tail for a hook-free ride that still grips at speed
  • Lightning Bolts and Carbon I-Beam maximize ollie power and edge control
  • Sintered WFO base keeps you cruising fast through the flats
  • Frostbite Edges extend slightly outward in the binding zones for enhanced grip in all snow conditions
  • Infinite Ride breaks-in fiberglass at the factory for a dialed out-of-the-box ride that lasts season after season
  • The Channel mounting system allows infinite stance options and effortless adjustment

i wear a US size 12 boot, do i need to get the wide board or can i get away with the standard flying V? i'm looking at getting a 158

Responded on

Usually if you have boots bigger than 10.5 you could go with the wide board.

The Wide is going to be your best bet. Toe hang = No Good. Do your self a favor and go with the wide.

Great

Been riding this board for about three years, it slays everything, park, powder, and groomers. If you are looking for an all around board, this one fits the bill

Custom Flying V

I demoed this board up at Park City While Burton was there and enjoyed the ride. Good all mountain board... I probably wouldn't buy one for the retail price, but if you are able to find a killer deal on one, it would always be a good board for your collection.

Hey Josh,

Not till next season, sorry.

Easy Mountain Ripping

This board is absolutely a breeze to ride. It hits any conditions fine. Powder, Trees, Park, bombing on groomers it can handle it all. The flex isn't huge so don't expect any crazy steep presses, but it has some good pop to it.

I recommend this board for anyone who likes to ride something different every time out.

The 158cm wide flying v picture on the site is the same as the normal custom is that just the site or what ?\

Responded on

The wide model is a wider version. If your boots are 10.5 or bigger then you can run the wide no problem.

yeah i know what a wide is, but the picture of the 158 flying v wide is the same pic as 158 normal custom

Custom Flying-V

The Custom is one of the most ridden boards in the industry. The deck is a tried and true product from Burton. This year Burton is offering the Custom with a Flying V core profile not V-rocker.

Flying V has V-rocker between your stance, camber underneath your bindings along with frostbite, then rocker on the tip/tail sections. All the ingredients to give you the best ride possible.

The lighting bolts are there to increase response and give you more board feel, and the Channel is the greatest system to allow the most fluid flex of a board possible. Grip it and Rip it.
