The one board that rips it all.
Steep Alaskan spines, backcountry couloirs, terrain parks, road gaps, half pipes—the Burton Custom ICS Snowboard basically rules every type of terrain you encounter. Now, thanks to Burton's ICS mounting system, the Custom allows nearly limitless stance options with standard and EST bindings. This ride uses a directional shape to help you stay up in the powder, but it keeps a twin flex for riding switch and stomping your 540. The Custom also packs a Sintered Vision WFO base for a fast ride and a Super Fly II core to give you a responsive feel at any speed. *Board colors vary and we have no control over which one you get. Basically, Burton likes to toy with you sometimes.**DISCONTINUED**

The Godfather of Freestyle
Absolutely best all round snowboard, if you are looking for a all-round machine for park or pow or even street this is weapon of you choice!!!
Does this board come with adaptors for use...
Does this board come with adaptors for use with older bindings.
Yes. It will come with the correct discs needed to mount non EST bindings on this board. However they must be Burton, Burton is the only brand you can mount on this board.
Last season I managed to snag the late 08 ICS Custom with the matching Cartels. The board feel with this thing is amazing even with all the cush the Cartels give you. From pow to park this thing kills it all. This stick is a banger for sure, if you're lookin for an all mountain stick that can still kill it throughout the park this is it.
smooth like butter
just rode the ICS custom 158 five bluebird days in a row at heavenly and sierra-at-tahoe, and i must say i was quite impressed. it moved fast through the slushies and held its edges very well on the icy patches.
it had lots of spring too, so it was nice to ride in the park. overall, i would say this is a great all mountain board.
Burton's Standard Bearer
The Custom has been around for as long as I can remember and somehow, I've never been on one. I finally demo'd a 156cm Burton Custom this past week. I'm willing to concede that the board may shine in parks and on smooth groomers, but in choppy crud, steeps, high-speed groomers, etc. it's not too great. The biggest problems are instability and chatter. It is a little stiffer than the Ride DH (which is more of a park board) but also manages to be less stable and more prone to chatter at speed. This board is in dire need of a tech upgrade that will smooth out the ride, rather than ICS/EST, which does nothing for the ride quality.
Killer ICS and EST
I got the Custom ICS and the Cartel EST set up. i rode it the next day i got them, it was amazing. great response and the flex of the board to binding is killer. i deff recomend the custom.
ICS is great
the ICS system is great... i used to have the burton custom in the non-ICS system and it was good, but now that i have the ICS, it is amazing. the board feel is unbelievable and this board is great for all-mountain riding.
I love the ICS system...make sure u get EST bindings with this board or it'll defeat the whole purpose.... GREAT board.....I love it....the only thing i don't like is how it's really easy to scratch up if u don't take good care of it.
How is the flex for the burton Costom on...
How is the flex for the burton Costom on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being very flexible?
i would rate it a 6
Is the ICS more flexible than the bolted...
Is the ICS more flexible than the bolted Burton Custom? How well does this board perform with regular bindings?
It comes with conversion discs for regular Burton binding also. You can still change the stance locations but only rotate by 3 degree increments
