Burton Custom Smalls Flying V Snowboard - Kids'

Burton built the Custom Smalls Snowboard for kids who need a board that can keep up with their progression. The Custom Smalls features the Flying V profile for a forgiving ride that can still charge big-boy runs and handle itself in the park.

  • Flying V hybrid profile offers rocker float and playfulness, while a touch of camber under the feet adds edge control, added pop, and power through turns
  • Biax fiberglass offers a forgiving, jib-friendly flex
  • Super Fly core uses a mix of hard and soft woods to save weight and increase pop and response
  • True twin shape lets you dial in your switch tricks
  • Extruded base is fast and easy to repair
  • Pro-Tip uses a thinner tip and tail for reduced swing weight

Bottom Line: Good things come in small packages.

Love this board!!!

I'm 5'0" 102 female advanced rider spending most of my time in the trees. As I am small I have found many boards to be too stiff and hard to control but after spending a year on my Custom Smalls 145 (previous year's model) my riding has progressed to a whole new level! I love this board and am buying another a second to turn into a split board.

The Custom Smalls featuring Burton's Flying V's combo of catch-free rocker with snappy camber makes this an effortless and highly maneuverable ride. made for kids who shred everything from rails, park, and pow to those Jedi snake runs through the trees.

I am 5'0" (153cm) tall and around 144 lb (65Kg)
Boot size 7.5

Level intermediate , snowboarding few days per year

The smaller Burton Custom Flying V (adults) is 148, while the biggest of the Burton Custom Smalls is 145W. Which is not too much difference. I now that i am a little over the specification weight for the custom smalls, but i feel more comfortable with 145 at the same time. Will it compromise the board?

Does the Burton Custom Smalls will work for me ? (instead a Burton Custom flying V). Price difference is huge.
