Burton Custom Snowboard - 2012

Let's be honest; we both know why you're here. You want a snowboard that rips everywhere from park jumps to cliffed-out chutes to early-morning groomer laps with precision and power. The Burton Custom has been that board for well over a decade, thanks to a fine-tuned shape and yearly technological evolutions like Squeezebox core profiling and carbon Lightning Bolts.

  • Traditional camber profile for a snappy, precise feel with tons of edge hold
  • Squeezebox core profiling offers more effective longitudinal energy transfer for bigger ollies with less effort
  • Triax fiberglass with carbon I-beam for a poppy, responsive ride that still feels playful
  • Side Effects lengthen your contact points for more surface area and better float in deep snow
  • Frostbite Edges extend slightly out from binding-mount zones for predictable, powerful grip in all snow conditions
  • Lightning Bolts transfer energy from your bindings to your contact points for extra pop and rock-solid edge grip
  • The Channel mounting system allows infinite stance options and a more natural flex
  • Sintered WFO base is pre-infused with wax for next-level speed

Bottom Line: Still the industry's all-mountain measuring stick.

This is a directional twin. That means the board shape is the same tip and tail but the stance is set back. the nose is longer than the tail.
hope this helps

One board kills all terrain

So you still want camber? Guess what so do we. Look no further then the Custom for the one board answer to all terrain. The core profiling of Squeezebox allows more board flex under your foot while more response outside your bindings. Add Lightning Bolts for additional pop in the tip/tail and frostbite for more edge control on those icy, hard pack days. All teamed up with Infinite Ride for a board that rides the same day 1 to 100 and you’ve found your match.
