Go Custom for the definition of performance bindings.
The Burton Custom is the standard by which all Snowboard Bindings should be judged. Long a favorite of pro riders—including those not sponsored by Burton—and hard-charging civilians, the Custom balances performance and practicality. A not-so-stiff baseplate complies with skateboard-like feel over park hits and on speed runs. The redesigned highback, with tool-free Forward Lean, reduces weight without sacrificing turn initiation or support. Trickle down technology benefits the Custom with OTT highback padding, adjustable gas pedals, and Smooth Glide buckles. Neutral handling and dialed specs define the binding that defines bindings.

I just started this year as a snowboarder and I bought the Burton Custom as my first set of bindings. I have to say, these have definitely helped me improve my techniques over the course of the season. I was riding a heavy Lamar LTD Fury 154 and I could perform short S turns off the board :-) with these babies mounted on it. They have great response, easy to get in and out of and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
I wanted a binding with good response, aluminum ratchets, good durability, and the name Burton on it. The smooth glide technology really works. I can get out of the binding in about one second and I can strap the bindings in about 7-10 seconds. The forward lean adjustment (FLAD) is really great. I usually make mine more forward so I can do heel sides quicker and get a better response. There is also an adjustable gas pedal, so you can accommodate your boot with it so you don't get any toe drag. These bindings can fit 4x4 holes and Burtons triangle shape which is great!
Best Binding Ever!!
I have the 2005/2006 Custom binding and I love it. The Custom is good for riding anywhere on the mountain. I also like the fact that at the end of the day my feet don't hurt at all. This is a very good binding and I highly recommend buying it.
OMG THESE R AMAZING... well its burton what do u expect
These bindings are great. The price is great and the comfort is amazing. They have sweet little holes instead of slits for the screws so threes no way it'll move and they are super sweet looking. The thing that I would like better would be if it had capsraps but, whatever, you buy those separately.
Unfortunate...but still a solid buy
I am very disenchanted with the Burton Custom binding. I shattered one (04' model year) and quite frankly didn't think the binding really lived up to all the hype before I snapped it. It's comfortable, so I can't slight it there; the binding just isn't the best thing out there. It actually rides a little numb (I feel disconnected) and maybe thats just me, but I had a little issue with that. And I also clearly had a durability issue.
I just got to try these bindings out, and I am VERY happy with them. They are easy to adjust, they quickly started to conform to the shape of my boots, but best of all, they didn't leave my feet sore at the end of the day, or even the next day. These bindings are strong and supportive at the same time, and they are definitely a great buy.
The custom bindings are comfortable and easy to adjust. After a full day on the mountain, my feet are not sore. They are good support and lightweight.
Ive tried so many bindings from every major company, but the Customs simply felt the best and are super responsive both in the park and out and about the mountain. Id recommend them to pretty much everyone, no matter what you ride!
HOOKED ON CUSTOM
Ive had Burton bindings ever since I started riding, and they are by far the best feeling binding on the market. If you don't like your feet to hurt all day, these are the one for you. Smooth, soft, and extremely responsive.
Hey, I've got the '03 Custom's and I love 'em, never had a problem. These bindings ROCK!!
