Go with the Burton Custom Bindings for freestyle dominance.

It's no wonder the Burton Custom Bindings are Shaun White's favorites. Long a favorite of pro riders and hard-charging civilians, the Custom Bindings balance performance and practicality. A mid-flex baseplate provides skateboard-like feel over park hits and dialed control on speed runs. The rotatable highback has a tool-free Forward Lean and a streamlined design to reduce weight without sacrificing turn initiation or support. True OTT highback padding eliminates calf bite, while EVA padding and adjustable gas pedals on the baseplate improve board feel. The telescoping Luxstrap and Burton's famous Capstrap lock your heel into the back of the binding for an unreal ride. *Available for US shipment only.

the toe strap slips sometimes while strapping it in but other than that these are good bindings

good, but not for me

good bindings and all, but they gave me bad pressure points on the inside of my foot with the 08 dc phase boots (BAD COMBINATION). i tried a pair of 09 customs and they were better with that. also, if you like to crank them nice and tight like me, theyre not that good because you have to fight for those last few notches, witch will eventually wear down the straps. besides that, theyre a good binding with lots of options that i like

Not too bad of a binding, but it lacks performance. The main complaint is cinching. It skips a lot and doesn't let you tighten your binding as well as you want to. They un-cinch by themselves once in a while. Again, if you don't go the the mountain more than 10 times a season, this should be good for you. As I said, it's decent, and in addition it is highly adjustable for any preference of riding style.

Great since 1998

I have had my original Burton Customs for 10 years and being a snowboard instructor, they have been used a ton. The teeth will wear out on the straps eventually. I have also own the Burton missions. Both great Bindings that have improved over time.

These rock!

Best bang for your buck. These were hard to find in my size and color but found them here along with many other things I just gave up on finding. The matte blue looks great on my 08 Burton Twin.

When ordering the bindings...does quantity of 1 refer to 1 binding, or 1 pair of bindings? Thanks!

Burton Customs

Ok, I bought the white Burton Customs and they are SWEET! All my buddies love these things. I really like the toe cap as well. I don't think I could ever go back to a regular strap. The toe cap just makes your foot feel more secure and my board, feet, and body feel more like one unit. I don't have any problems w/ the straps, they cinch up just fine. I would recommend these things to anyone.

Custom Review

The quality of these bindings are amazing. The only problem is that the cap strap on the toes would not line up right so it wouldn't not tighten correctly. I tried every adjustment but no go. I even started to strip the plastic teeth on the strap. I had to return them and the people at this site were extremely helpful. They are the Nordstrom of Retail Snowboards.

I love these bindings! I bought a pair for myself last year, and love them so much I bought another set for my girlfriend. I would recommend Burton customs to anyone who rides hard and needs adjustable, affordable, and comfortable bindings.

MY boot size is 10, should I take size L or M cartel bindings??

Responded on

Either or.. it's up to you. If you are still going to grow, get a large. If you are done growing, then medium is the way to go.

Great Bindings

I am a first time snowboarder and these bindings are great although what isn't from burton. I love all the adjustments that burton gives you to give you that custom feel. I would recommend these for anyone that wants to snowboard.

Work Great

These bindings are great. If you're used to the old style, these may take some getting used to. Also, the ratchets slip sometimes when you tighten them.

Sweet ride

The bindings are amazing. I love the toe Cap. This system could not be any better. It pulls the boot in really tight and it is very comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone.

Look great and for the most part are decent for what you pay. I already had a screw pull through the material on the foot strap, not to impressed considering I've always thought so highly of the Burton products.
