Burton rules

I've been snowboarding for 15+ years and always buy Burton stuff. This is my 3rd set of Custom bindings and have never been disappointed. Jake started our sport so stick with the best!

Alright i've got size ten feet but size large bindings. Should i return them or will this work out

Responded on

It depends on the boots you have. If the boots are pretty slim for a size 10 then you may want to return them. If you think your feet are still growing and have a fat boot, then you should be ok. What kind of boots do you have?

I wear a size 8,5 bruton boots? SIZE- S,M or L?

Responded on

Run the medium. Mediums are sizes 8-10 in mens. It does depend somewhat on which boots you have. If you do have boots that are built on a size smaller outsole, i.e. all 2011 burton park boots and all forum mens boots, you could go with the smalls. To be safe I would go with the mediums.

I wear a size 11 shoe, LARGE???

Responded on

Yes. Size large is the binding for you. Large fit boot sizes 11 and up.

Responded on

Lyman is correct, BUT it all dependant on what size of boot you have. Some boots have 'shrinkage tech' and that makes the sole of the boot smaller. Also I have gone through many boots and have gone from a 11 all the way up to a 13. So it all depends on what company you're rockin and what size. But yes L/XL bindings hold size 11+ boots.

I have burton hero board 2010. can I get this bindings on my board?

Responded on

Yes they can. The custom bindings should come with a two hole disk. If not, then stop by your local shop and they will hook you up.

Responded on

The 09/10 Hero was 8x2 inserts so you won't need to get the retro-discs to mount these binders on the board.

If you mean you have a 10/11 hero, you'll need to get the retro discs which run about $20 because this year's hero runs the infinite channel system (ICS).

Responded on

Lyman is correct, and you should never spend a penny for retro disks.

They are 100% FREE from retailers and from Burton. Call Burton Rider Services at (800) 881-3138 for the freebies.

Hey,
Is this an EST system binding? or normal system??
Thanks

Responded on

This is a normal system. The est has the screw holes on the outside of the baseplate. This has the traditional four or three hole disks.

Responded on

Normal disks. If the binding is an EST it will say so in the Binding name. That will make it a little easier for you to know right off the bat what style of binding it is.

Stop thinking, Start buying!

Rode two different boards before buying my own last season. One POS with Customs and a prime board with some solomon bindings. The POS shredded 10x harder all due to the Customs. Got em in acid green (wayy brighter than photo). Tons of compliments on the MT

If I have a size 13 Boot (Burton Moto) and Large binding (Burton Custom) do i need a WIDE board? I ride a Burton Custom 3D...08 model

Responded on

It would definitely be better for you to get a Wide version of the Custom. Running a regular width board will cause you to have to much toe and heel drag. Get a wide board to help eliminate this from occurring.

Responded on

I would suggest going wide as well - I wear 12s and I get toe drag on a midwide board

AWESOME BINDING FOR THE PRICE!!!

Trays have a lifetime warranty

Soft and mellow flex to them

Comfortable straps with solid, solid buckles.

After all, you get the patented cap strap for under $160 bucks!!!

Can you mount these on an EST syled board? If so do you need any special equipment for it other than the regular equipment?

Best Answer Responded on

All burton bindings will fit on the channel. Burton makes a two-hole disk for non-EST bindings. If you have an EST board you should have the disk. If not, go to your nearest shop and get some. they should be free.

Responded on

Lyman knows his stuff! exactly!

Binding come from dogfunk with the Universal Disk. Fitted mine to a Nitro board no problem!

sweet binding

I really like this binding it was my first binding so I dont have anything to compare it to. It looks gnarley, super comfy, not to stiff for a beginner, fit my Burton Moto boot perfectly. Very pleased with the quailty and attention to detail of this binding.

Great Bindings for the Buck!

I've heard for a little more money you can move up into a binding from a different brand that'll be lighter and higher quality (e.g., Union). But I'm a newer rider that doesn't ride 50+ days/year, and I'm pretty happy with the Customs so far, for the price! Got an unbeatable deal with dogfunk.com! Definitely recommend over the Freestyle, if you're looking for an entry-level binding. Great colors, and they seem durable. I love Burton's smooth buckles. Loads of adjustments on this binding. These held my boots in just fine. Got 'em toward the end of this season, so we'll see how they hold up next year.
