With the new Custom Snowboard, Burton took it up a notch to make a freestyle legend even better.

i used to have this board for four seasons, and it never let me down, even though i really treated it bad, riding over mud, rocks, rails, every day for four seasons. i only changed because it finally lost shape in a high speed wipe out.

Hi. I have a burton snowboard from 2007 and I need to sell it, but I don't know any details about the core, style type etc. Could you help me find out, with the attached picture?
It's 152 cm. That's as much as I know. Oh and the bindings are mission, but I don't know anything else. I want to make sure I'm selling it for the right price (for both the buyer and me) It's only been used three times. Sadly I no longer live near the mountains.
Thank you. K

hi. im 6' 1" never snowboarded before or skiied. i know i cant skateboard, but would i be able to learn how to snowboard? ohh, and im also like 350lbs! thanks -sam
i would say yes, anditd be a good workout, very good. you should probably not buy a board if you dont kno how to ride or dont kno how youll like it.
Best All mountain/freestyle board period
Best All mountain/freestyle board period. Though I have not ridden the Travis Rice snowboard and have big feet so I need a wide board. This board is phenomenal. It literally kicks butt everywhere. In the park you get as close to centered up as you can and go kill the park like the best of them, set the stance back and ride pow like it was meant for it. This baby has some absolutely amazing pop. If you are getting 3 feet of air off a flat cliff drop while riding 2 feet of pow, it pops.

hey im 5'8 about 120 would a 148 be good for me? or do i need to go bigger? i dont do tricks i just like to cruise
In general, you'll get more speed with a longer board. However, you need to consider your ability as well in order to handle/control the longer size board.
Great board, matte finish blows
This board is great. It's forgiving on landings, and it holds and edge in icy Vermont conditions. What's with the matte finish on the tips? From the first day, this board has taken some abuse. I just wish the cosmetic scratches and smudges weren't so damn obvious.
Ordered custom board from uk and had it delivered to a friend in NYC. No problem and hassle free. Haven't tried it yet but as i am replacing my old custom board - i'm sure it will great! thanks guys
the custom is a classic
I love a great all around board and this fits the bill. soft enough to get you over the rough stuff smoothly but stiff enough to carve like a dream.
Best all mountain board!
This has such a nice feel to it under foot. It for the flex is surprisingly stable at high speeds, carves like a champ, has killer pop, and handles the pow like it was meant for it. Had an incredible time on this board. For sure for the price, well worth it.
A great park board that can work on the rest of the mountain too. Not so good in the powder, but it works wonders in the park.
Its the best all around board you can find, when you are buying from here they don't guaranty what color of board you will get which is a shame.
But i have to admit they guys here tried to find me the color I wanted but they couldn't.
Word of advice check with them about the color.
I rode a '56 2006 Custom for 2 seasons, 1 year East Coast ice and 1 in the North Cascades pow. Great board for park jumps, the nose and tail are significantly thinner than most, equalling low swing weight. I was dissapointed in the "Infinite Ride" technology, it pretty near completely lost its flex on season 2. It handled surprisingly well as a pow board when mounted set back 2" or so, great for tight trees, little drops, not so much open bowls as it's noodly at speed. Fun to spin around.
It gets a 5 as a brand new board, but very short lived durability, (seems to fall apart as soon as the warrenty ends.)
Burton Custom 151
Bought a Burton Custom 151cm earlier this year, took it out and the board is amazing! Feels great, looks great and I have more control with this board than I ever did before. A Solid Board that won't let you down, no matter your skill level. From Beginner to Expert, this is one of the best.

Hey - i'm a women all mountain rider my current board is 151cm... i'm quite keen on this board - do you think it would be suitable for me?
Depending on your weight, 151 is good up to about 160lbs. The Shorter the board, the easier it is to spin, the longer it is the easier to carve hard. Its mostly preference and flex is more important. Just stay in the suggested weight ranges =)
1st one stolen....bought another....
BOARD STOLEN - To the lame ass that stole my 2 month old Custom 162 this week at Brighton while I was eating nachos at Molly Greens, may it bring you much pain.... Thanks to this site for setting me up again with this amazing board. If anyone in SLC sees a 162 (scratch across the top) with Black/Copper Missions thank them for me anyway will you please....
Product Slightly Damaged
I received my Burton Custom Board in a timely manner. My only issue with it is that it showed up with a small gouge in the base of the board. I am a bit disappointed that a damaged product arrived at my doorstep.
This is the best board period. You only need one board and this is it. Freeride, freestyle, ice, powder - this guy can do it all. I tried every flagship model of every brand and there is no contest. Custom is the best board out there. But don't take my word for it, this is the choice of most professionals!
OMG what a difference
I've been riding a 161 Air for years. I decided on a new board this year and picked up a Custom 162. What a difference the forward stance made for me in the park. Carves like a dream and the feel 6 is amazing. Best board I've riden bar none.
No Chatty Chatty Bang Bang
I rode my new Burton Custom 158 for the first time yesterday and it rocked. My second run i pointed the nose downhill and went as fast as i could, not an ounce of chatter, this ripped up my last board for control and sturdyness. It carves like a beast and the simple but vibrant graphics are sick. Not taken it in the park yet but im sure it will hold up. I love this legendary all mountain machine.
The custom is a great board. Offered in so many different sizes and widths there is one for everyone. Great float in powder, the flex is amazing, great pop and rides well in the park on all features. This is a great all mountain board for someone who rides everything.
