Description

Exactly what you need for an epic day of off-piste snowboarding.

The Burton Day Hiker Pack holds just enough gear for a quick pre-work tour or the occasional duck-the-gate ride outside your local resort. With cush shoulder straps and an ergonomic back panel, this pack carries comfortably as you hike ridges and float fresh powder. Put your shovel and probe in the main compartment along with your hydration bladder (not included) and get after it. The vertical carry system holds your snowboard securely as you boot pack to the goods. Stash your MP3 player in the media pocket so you can play your theme song while you take face shots. **DISCONTINUED**

Luv the backpack <3 graphics are sickk too

It was a toss up between the Burton day hiker 12L or the Dakine Heli-Pro... Im very happy with my Burton choice as it is the right size and the graphics are pretty sick also...
The Dakine was a tad larger but Im 5'3" petite so the Burton was the right length and fits just the right amount of stuff... very useful up at Mt Hood this summer!

where do you put the blatter and where does the hose come out from?

The bladder goes in the main compartment against the back panel and the tube should come out by the top of the shoulder strap and down the shoulder strap in a zippered sleeve. Cheers.

Good Day Pack, Bad Backcountry Pack

Overall a good small day snowboarding backpack, but not very good for hiking or backcountry because it’s not big or strong enough.

Good Sh!t

At first this bag looked like a toy in a happy meal compared to what my thoughts of it were! But after putting it on, loading in a few sammy's, some chips, my hyrdopack, goggles, g/f's under armor, my stash of snacks and strapping my board to it, I was impressed. I'm 5'5 150lbs and thsi bag fits perfect. Perfect for it's purpose, and I even rock it around campus cause it's so bad ass looking!

One thing tho... I couldn't find the "fleece: liner for the goggles... appears to me there is a misprint of the word fleece in the description.

Great little Pack..

Buy yourself a bladder for this guy and you're good to go. Kinda small, don't expect to put too much stuff in there, but perfect for a few snacks and when adding a bladder, great for keeping you hydrated all day. plenty of stash pockets in it.

This thing is perfect

It is definitely on the small side, but that's why its awesome. As its name states, this is for short day hikes. you don't have to lug around an enormous pack. I can just strap my board to it and go! It fits snug, and it fits my hydration bladder too. great buy!

I bought two of these for my kids, and the straps are not long enough to attach a kid's snowboard (Burton Smalls 125cm.) Maybe the ones I got have shorter straps than yours, but there's no way I could get an adult snowboard strapped onto the back of this pack. That said, the pack looks bomber, and I'm thinking of keeping it and doing a homestyle strap modification. There aren't really any kids-specific snowboard carry packs on the market that I can find. This 12L Day Hiker fits my kids (ages 6&8) pretty well, so I'll try to make it work, but the board carry is more appropriate for skate than snowboard IME.

Nice Sack

I'm 6'2'' 230lbs and this bag was a little too small for me. Nicely made basic construction, good for carrying a couple small articles or one medium size piece of clothing. Definitely would have kept it if it were a little bigger.
