Burton Delirium Jacket - Women's

The Burton Women’s Delirium Jacket delivers a dreamy combination of targeted warmth, weather-blocking performance, and streetwise style. Burton updated the Delirium with super-smart body-mapped insulation that keeps you toasty without sacrificing mobility. Zip up in this jacket when you're craving park laps and the sound of your board carving through the snow.

  • DryRide 2L Durashell laminate blocks moisture while remaining highly breathable so you'll stay dry when fresh stuff falls
  • Heathered plain weave face fabric with DWR finish sheds the initial onslaught of snow
  • Fully taped seams stop moisture from squeezing in between the stitching
  • Mapped Thinsulate insulation (100g around your torso and 60g in your sleeves) traps warmth to keep you warm while leaving your arms free to move
  • Taffeta lining is silky and easy to slide into
  • Sig fit is classic and balanced; it's not too tight, and it's not too baggy
  • Zippered, mesh-lined underarm vents expel excess heat once the afternoon sun hits the mountain
  • Contour hood cinches down for total head protection with a custom fit
  • Removable powder skirt with jacket-to-pants interface stops snow from flying up your jacket, and can stay at home for around-town wear
  • Removable Lycra Hand Panties keep the back of your hands covered and prevent snow from getting into your sleeves
  • Plenty of pocket space including lined hand pockets, media and goggle pockets, and a laminated pass pocket keep you organized

Bottom Line: Crazy-smart.

Pockets galore and fits my monkey arms great!

To preface this, I have not worn this jacket to ride yet; it just got here yesterday. But it seems to be of the same quality or a bit better construction as the Jet Set jacket, which I ride in a ton and is great! So here's the deal: I'm 5'9" about 155 with long-ass arms and big boobs and this jacket fits AWESOME (I got a large). Super long arms (which is why I heart Burton) and roomy enough to throw a layer under, but still sort of a chick-ish cut, which is cool. Crapton o' pockets and seems like it'll be pretty toasty. Comes down to mid-booty and fits well through the hips, not too boxy. Oh and the Tart color is awesome. Nice and bright so my friends won't lose me in the woods :)

missing a pocket

By:
February 4, 2013

The description said there was a "laminated pass pocket" but i just got this jacket and there was no such pocket. No inside pockets at all for that matter. A bit of a disappointment, but overall a high quality jacket. Very wind resistant. I wore this jacket all weekend in Minneapolis during a bike race (yes outdoor in winter) it was 4-9 degrees all day and with a wool layer underneath i was quite toasty inside this jacket. The "hex" color changes from dark purple looking to dark blue- its quite cool. I think ill grow to really love it.
