Go by the sizing on the Burton Website. That is the correct sizing. If Xl is your size then run it.

When i found this jacket online , I knew i had to order it . Its burton , and although I live in Canada (where Burton doesn't ship to) I found a way . I managed to have it shipped to a friend in the states , where she then shipped it to me . I bought this jacket in Cosmo Pink in an XS , and although it looks reddish brown on the burton website, it is very true to the colour on dogfunk.com and was a very pretty bubblegum shade of pink . This jacket has two zip of pockets on the front , with two pockets on the inside. One large pocket for goggles, and one for what looks to be the place to put an ID . It has zippers under the armpits for the warmer days . Living in Canada , it gets really cold here but you will still always find me on the hill snowboarding , and with this jacket I really don't get cold . Its warm , and windproof and has longer sleeves which mostly cover my mits, which I love . The collar goes up pretty far, and can cover up past my neck if it gets really cold (which often enough it does.) I haven't regretted buying this jacket even for a second. I love it , and I suggest it to all you girls out there who are looking for a unique jacket with warm , style , and the perfect fit . I'm almost positive you will love it just about as much as I do.

Yes it will fit over a helmet no problem. My wife loves this jacket, the fit is great and it keeps her nice an warm as well.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this jacket, but I am so glad I did. It's really comfy and warm. I find a thermal and a t shirt underneath is plenty to keep me toasty in the cold, wet New Zealand air. I purchased the Royal Pain colour and I get a lot of comments :-)

There is no outside chest pocket, no inside pockets at all except one tiny one that looks like it's for an ID (on the inside of the chest area). There are two outside zip pockets, but that's not nearly enough cargo room in my opinion. It's a shame because it seems really warm and wind/waterproof. I'm returning it.

This jacket is warm, it is insulated in the body with 100 grams and in the arms with 60 grams. This will keep you warm. If you are cold, then wear a good baselayer and you will be very toasty.
