Burton Emphasis Pack - 2010

Focus on the task at hand when you strap your board to the Burton Emphasis Pack and hitch a ride to skate spots scattered across the country. The vertical skate carry system holds your livelihood while you tour and film with small indie companies from New York to Seattle. Once you’re there, roll down the sidewalk to get some grub with the sternum strap securing the Emphasis to your back. Your laptop rides along in the interior sleeve so you can review your bank balance before another night of drink specials, and the side pockets hold your sunglasses and music player to help the van ride go by faster.

Bottom Line: Take over the world, one town at a time.

Yes it will. The two straps on the back are made especially for that reason.

Here's a straight-up review.
I longboard, I'm the proud owner of a Sector 9 Green Flash board. This bag HOLDS THAT THING. IT'S HEAVY AS HELL! It's super durable, and easily cleaned with a wet paper towel when you drop it in some poop or dirt or anything. The inside pocket inside the main compartment is super handy for loose papers, and there's tons of room for like, a four or five 1.5-inch thick textbooks. It's all kept secure, unlike most bags, where everything drops to the bottom and lays flat.
The side pockets are handy, one keeping my calculator, sometimes Zune HD, sometimes my HTC phone, and occasionally my wallet.
Zippers are strong and durable, and the chest-clip thing is super handy when you're boarding and you want your shitake secure. The shoulder straps are perfectly wide and not too thick, so you don't sweat underneath them and they don't hurt your shoulders by digging into them. AKA, amaaazing weight distribution. This pack may look simple, but it's easily one of the best you'll ever get. The material itself is super sturdy, and doesn't get scuffed up easily by griptape.
THE ONLY downside, is that I drink a LOT of water, and a side pocket can easily hold a bottle of water, but you just have to zip it halfway, which is what I do, and you're set. Don't let that stop you from getting this pack! It's definitely worth every penny. If selling this pack, I would've sold it at much more than I bought it for. Totally worth the buy.
