Burton Exile Snowboard Bindings - 09/10 - 2009

Unlike bindings designed to do everything, the Burton Exile Snowboard Bindings include a freestyle-specific ASYM Superstrap and park-ready flex pattern that lets you hit jumps and rails like never before. You also get Burton-designed goodies like super-comfortable Ultra Capstraps that eliminate the pressure points you get from other binders.

  • Smooth Glide buckle technology makes it easier to strap in and unbuckle
  • Serious amounts of base-plate padding cushions your landing
  • Medium flex lets you tweak your spins but still gives you the control to butter a rail
  • Single-component construction gives the highback a uniform flex for a more precise feel

Bottom Line: The binding built for the way you ride.

Large... you could squeeze into a medium if you have a boot with shrinkage tech but I would go large to be safe.

Yes you do, they will work on any four-hole disk board. Great binding, for the park. That set up will be sick.

These bindings are softer than Cartels. If you like softer bindings then the Exile would be awesome for you. I love this binding, the new Asym strap is really comfortable.

the base plate does not adjust as you buy by size depending on your foot.

Everything else is easy tool free adjustments

Also, the toe ramp is fully adjustable

Park specific binding. Specialized material that is focused on giving the rider the flex and support needed to handle jumps and jibs. B3 gel in the heel reduces impact. Amazing price for this amazing binding.

Are these All Mountain/FreeRide or pure freestyle type of bindings?

Are these All Mountain/FreeRide or pure freestyle type of bindings? I've ridden the P1 and presently use the Cartel. I have a new EST board and am looking for an EST binding. I dont ride Park at all.

If you ride no park you probably don't want a mid flex binding, if you're looking for a stiff freeride binding don't get these.

Yes they are. They do have a lower highback though and are even more "freestyle" specific than the mission.
