Expedition-worthy warmth.

When the wind’s blowing and the thermometer’s dropped into the single digits, pull out the heavy artillery and layer up with the Burton Women’s Expedition ¼-Zip Top. Plush, quick-drying microfleece keeps you cozy, while a touch of stretch gives you unlimited mobility in the park. A longer body means your backside's not exposed to the elements when you bend over to strap in, and an anti-stink finish keeps the fleece smelling fresh for tomorrow, since the forecast calls for even colder weather then.

My favorite item of clothing!

I am in love with this piece - the fabric and the style are both perfect. I bought the purple from the Burton store, and I had to find more, so I just ordered the green and black.

I am 5'9" and about 140 with long arms, torso, and legs. Finding good performance clothing is so hard because the legs/arms are always too short and shirts usually don't reach my hip. This fleece has long enough arms (I can actually use the thumb hole!) and it long enough that it covers my hips. It is not bulky, so the fit is very flattering.

The material is a little stretchy and super soft and comfy. I haven't put this in the dryer (air dry) and it is still soft - no piling (I've had it for about 8 months). As far as warmth, I have worn this alone with a tank and my jacket out snowboarding and been completely warm. I also wore it last summer on cool nights. GREAT laying piece. I personally don't zip up the neck the whole way, but I just don't like things on my neck.

Oh yeah, this is a maybe weird observation, but it doesn't get as smelly as you might think. After a hard day of boarding, I didn't think it was too gross to wear the next day running errands. I thought I read that may be something with the material...it seems to work! Can't wait for more colors!
