Burton Family Tree Con Artist Snowboard - 2012

There are a bunch of different ways to crush powder. Burton knows them all, and is inventing new ways all the time. The latest, the Con Artist Snowboard, uses revolutionary Burton technology and a never-before-seen shape with unheard-of dimensions for the ultimate tight-tree weapon. Don't be fooled. The Con Artist is only 152cm long, but it floats like a big gun because of its long, wide nose and short, narrow tail. All this means incredible speed and maneuverability on days so deep that the rest of your buddies are struggling to get back to the lift.

  • Burton S-Rocker (rocker from the nose to under the front foot, then camber) for insane flotation keeps you hauling ass on top of the snow while everyone else is neck-deep in tree wells
  • Long, wide nose and stubby tail keeps your nose up in powder so you can ride with your weight centered for greater control and no more rear leg fatigue
  • Dragonfly Core is over 300 laminations, each individually oriented within the core for reduced weight, increased strength and energized response
  • Multizone EGD places the wood perpendicular under the riders feet in four different zones to optimize edge control
  • The Channel allows the rider to micro-adjust his or her stance over a greater length and an infinite range
  • Directional Flex means the board is packed with pop at the tail and resilience at the nose to help maintain control in any terrain
  • Sintered WFO Base is infused with a specially formulated wax for greater speed with fewer tunes
  • Stainless edges mean no rust and longer-lasting sharpness
  • Burton over builds each board and then uses a special machine to break them in before you ever see them. The process makes the boards last a very long time and it's called Infinite Ride

Bottom Line: It's not really fair ....
