Description

High power directional freestyle for the entire mountain.

At a glance, the Burton Juice Wagon looks like your standard powder board. The stance is set back, it's tapered, and it has a classic pointy nose and pin tail. But underneath the surface, it's a freestyle powerhouse just waiting to be unleashed. Think of it as a full-cambered Fish that's designed to charge hard through deeps, steeps, crud and jumps.

The Juice Wagon's cambered profile ensures that you'll have strong edge hold and powerful turns even in crusty snow. Once you've dropped in, the 12mm taper keeps the nose afloat in the deepest snow. It's complemented by a directional flex, which pairs a stiff, powerful tail with a softer nose that resists diving. The handling gets a boost from a tight sidecut, which keeps the Juice Wagon turning on a dime. But this is no powder-only shred stick. The Juice Wagon holds its own from the steep and deep to laps through the local jump line.

Pro Tip construction reduces the weight of the tip and tail, for faster spins and more responsive turns. The Super Fly core is profiled for a natural flex along the whole length. That works in conjunction with The Channel mounting system, which contributes to unrestricted flex, instead of causing dead spots under the bindings like traditional binding interfaces. Round it out with Infinite Ride, and you know it'll ride the same on the first day as it will throughout its entire life.

  • Traditional camber
  • Directional 12mm taper
  • Directional tapered sidecut
  • Super Fly II Core with Dualzone EGD
  • Sintered WFO base
  • The Channel binding mounting system

I'm about 5'10" and currently ride a 155 super hero, should I get the 153 or the 157 for this purchase??

157 would be your best bet. You will more than likely be using this for big mountain, deep powder days and that would be a good size for your height.

thinking of buying the juice and needing help on size. Im 6"1 230lb, advanced(not expert) rider. most freeride/all mountain with some park jumping. Do you thik the "63 cm" is adequate or do i need to go with the "70" thanks for any help.

Responded on

Hi Jing,
For a more versatile board, the 163cm will probably work best. It will perform great freeriding/all-mountain but wont' be too long for you to progress in park.

Responded on

Jing-
163cm is the largest size available in this board, so 170 is not an option.

Burton has an interactive sizing tool here, check it out: http://www.burton.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-Burton_US-Site/default/Product-SizeCharts?pid=W14-11540100

JUICEY GOODNESS

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Reviewer Thoughts: Fast, MidWide Shape, Pointy nose and tail. Good for stomping cliffs and straight-lining chutes, playful enough to have fun in the park on the way down from a gnarly chute. Pretty much a do everything board/ powder/ all mtn board. Full Camber Weapon. Directional shape with a slightly larger (and pointy) nose. Rides switch very well. I felt like I had to muscle it around at first (due to the wider waist width), but once you get the feel for it, edge to edge movement becomes intuitive and quick. Medium flex in between the binders, with a stiffer nose and tail, i.e.- good at ripping through the chunder at mach speeds.

Responded on

Agreed! Super stable and predictable in powder steeps and variable but also really fast on the grooms. All around a super fun board.
