Description

Some boards ride well. The Feather rides amazingly.

The Burton Women’s Feather Wide Snowboard uses a Cruise Control rocker shape to make it one of the easiest-to-ride boards that you’ll ever strap on your feet. This board combines a super-soft flex with a directional shape to make it very easy to turn and very forgiving on chattery snow.
  • Negative Core Profile softens torsional flex to reduce the chance of snagging an edge
  • Rocker shape increases flotation and makes this board easier to turn
  • Twin flex helps when you want to ride switch
  • Lightspeed Vision base ensures plenty of durability to handle seasons of riding
  • Biax React Fiberglass lessens torsional flex for a jib-friendly feel

im a total newbie looking at this board cause it seems to be a really versatile, solid board for the money. ill be boarding groomed runs and maybe learning some jibbing when i get better.

im 5'10" and 140 pounds. my boot size is an 11 in womens which is a 9.5 in guys and that is 27cm long

i need to know if i should get the regular 153 feather or the mid wide 152 feather
i have big feet for a girl and i heard too much overhang is bad

THANKS SO MUCH

Get the wide board for sure... But to be honest a 152 is a tad short for your height and weight.... I would say a 156-158 is more your size... Go to a snowboard shop... A board should, when stood on it's tail come to between your chin and nose... You CAN always go shorter or longer, but that's where you should start until you have developed some skills and then want to fine tune your board size to you preferred type of riding..

Since you said you will stick mostly to groomers, then maybe a little jibbing in the future, Stick with the 153. I'm 6' and weigh 165 lbs. I ride a 155 almost always. I usually ride only park unless it dumbs a couple feet. If i were to ride a board that came up to my chin, it would be way to big for the type of ridding I normally do. Look into a mid-wide for sure. Any mens size over 10.5 should be a mid-wide.

Hey there again... If you go to the Burton web site they have a "Board Finder" application... If you plug in your stats... the board that comes back with the 100% match is the Feather 156... Just like I said, which falls in line with board comes to chin to nose... Take Burtons advice... Which is the same as mine!
