No more stopping at the lodge.
Enough with the "take a run, warm up, take a run, warm up" schedule. Ditch your single-layer shell pants and grab the Burton Fly Women's Pant, which is mapped with super-low-profile Thinsulate insulation to keep your legs warm so you can stop being such a frequent lodge visitor. There's enough room to easily fit a toasty baselayer underneath, too, along with a 10K waterproof and breathable DryRide Durashell membrane to keep moisture where it belongs--outside. The regular fit is slightly tailored but still lets you move totally freely, and the inseam vents help you cool down if you're chowing down on some serious spring riding. Last but not least, the ankle gaiters and zips keep snow from creeping into your boots and let you dial in your style without any hassle.

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
I get pretty warm when I board so I wanted a pant with light insulation, and these are perfect. I like the design of the pants as well as the pockets, just enough storage. They are a little tighter in the thighs and then wider below the knee, so you still get the typical snowboard pant look but don't look like a boy, which is perfect. They also have the nifty little hook at the bottom that can clip to your boots to make sure they say down while boarding. The ankle zip is a nice feature as well.
for the 'always cold'
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I agree with the previous review, sizing is a bit big--i'm the same measurements and also ended up with a small (perfect fit). Bought these due to the insulation--that's getting harder to find; since shells, no matter how many layers I wear weren't cutting it. Wore these on a nicer day last week (sunny and low 30's with a very light base layer) and was actually HOT (Something I've never experienced in my almost 20yrs of riding.)--vented them and they were PERFECT. it's usually very cold and wet and these keep me toasty, dry and riding all-day long.
Good pant overall - would recommend
- Fit: Runs large
The sizing is a little big, but they are great snowboarding pants. I am 5' 6" and wear a size 4 women's pant, and the small fits perfect. I was swimming in the medium.
Waterproof, comfortable and warm (well insulated, I wear just a pair of shorts underneath on most days). Simple design with just enough pockets, but I need to wear a belt with them.
