Say goodbye to rentals forever.
The Burton Genie Women's Snowboard is built with one purpose in mind—to get you off of the bunny slope and onto the rest of the hill as quickly and confidently as possible. Thanks to its smooth riding V Rocker profile and catch-free Cruise Control base, you'll have this whole standing sideways thing nailed down in no time.
The Feather is built on Burton's V Rocker profile, so it's fully rockered. Which is good for you, because it makes the Genie effortless to turn. The twin shape rides exactly the same no matter which foot you have forward. Better yet, the convex Cruise Control base makes pretty much impossible to catch an edge while flat basing. And that means less time spent falling, and more time dialing in your technique.
The women's specific Super Fly Core is profiled for a smooth ride. The extruded base holds up well to rails and jibbing, it's easy to repair in the event of a core shot, and it runs fast even if you forget to wax it for a few days.

My girlfriend is 5'7". 118 lbs. size 8 boot. She is a beginner. What size board would you recommend for her size.
Why does it say it has the channel binding...
Why does it say it has the channel binding system? When you look at the pictures it's a 8 hole mounting system.
Our mistake, this is one of the few boards that still has the 3D mounting system. I will put in a request to get that changed.
