The padded Burton Gig Bag holds two snowboards (with bindings removed), or one board with bindings and a few layers, gloves, hats, and goggles. Strap your skateboard to the bottom using the skate conversion straps and convert the Gig into a rolling carrier. The Gig Bag is fully padded, so you don't have to worry about handing your quiver over to baggage handlers. A tuning pocket holds your tools and wax, and two handles, a shoulder strap, and an end handle give you carrying options. The zipper pulls fit TSA-approved locks (not included). *Available for US shipment only. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Pack your quiver in the padded Burton Gig Bag and start your endless winter.
This bag is awesome, i was able to put all my gear (board boots gloves pants jacket goggles) into the Burton gig bag. it made it a lot easier to travel with. for the price its a great deal you can't go wrong with it .

Well padded and lots of room. I got the 156 (my board is a 154) and it still has tons of room for boots, clothes, and all kinds of stuff. It seems to be incredibly well padded, so your stuff doesn't get banged up - good for the car, even better for those who are taking it on a plane. Nice adjustable shoulder strap as well as hand strap, and also an ID slot.
bought this bag for a trip out west, and it was exactly what i wanted. i could easily fit my board, my boots, my coat, my pants, and even my gloves and goggles inside. it was easy to transport through the airport too.
for such a nice sale price, i would highly recommend the gig bag.
Got this bag for my first board, and it has performed brilliantly.
I got a 166 for my 158 board, and it just fits. I can leave the bindings on, and place a pair of boots, my helmet, goggles, pants and jacket inside as well. The side pocket has all my little gear, plus two pairs of gloves and a couple of hats. This bag is ROOMY. It also has good padding built in, so your gear doesn't need extra protection inside.
The detachable shoulder strap is great for slogging through the airport (flew with it twice, nothing inside got a scratch). There's a nice bagtag built-in with velcro cover in case the airline loses your gear (the bag survived that too). Oh, and I also strapped it to the top of a car for a trip through the Mojave, and it picked up plenty of nasty bug hits, but the exterior material is heavy duty, so this stuff was easily washed off.
This bag is ridiculous value for money, and a true survivor. Trust your board with nothing less!
It's an awsome bag, I bought it because I was travelling with my board for the first time. And I was able to take one board w/ bindings and two with out plus one pair of loose bindings and my boots, along with my gloves and gogles. Great bag!!!!!
I just got the gig bag and took it on a trip. It was amazing to have because I could fit so much it it that I didn't have to take another bag to go under the plane. I got the 156 and my board is a 157 Burton twin and I still have a little room on both ends.
