Slim style and serious storm-proofing, together at last.
Tired of baggy, boxy shred pants but don't want to compromise when it comes to storm-proof performance? The Burton Gloria Pant features a stretchy, stylish slim fit with a lower rise and slightly longer inseam, yet still offers blizzard-worthy weather protection. Burton treated the Gloria with a DWR that blocks water before it even gets to the waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell laminate, and a stretch taffeta lining adds warmth and a luxurious feel.
The Gloria pant provides protection where it counts. The waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle nasty winter storms. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined inner thigh vents. The microfleece fly and waistband are soft to the touch, so you won't get nasty hot spots if your skin rubs against your pants. Burton also built a jacket-to-pant interface into the pants so you can attach them to your Burton jacket to create a suit of snow-proof armor. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. The integrated waist adjustments allow you to customize your fit, and you can dial it in with the belt loops or just use them to accessorize. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day. Finally, you can warm your digits or just protect your valuables with the fleece-lined, zippered front hand pockets.

- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I found that these had an extremely wide waist for the rest of the pants. I am 5'6" 130lbs and got M... and everything fit really well except the waist was so abnormally large that even if I wore a belt it would bunch in strange places and look really unflattering. I imagine the small would have fit my waist a bit better, but the knees definitely would have been uncomfortable in a smaller size. I don't think my body proportions are much different than an average woman... perhaps somebody with thin legs and a much larger rear end would be happy with these. I returned them.
I purchased some Burton "Karma" pants from Dogfunk.com 3 yrs. ago and I loved them so much I came back to get a second pair in a different color BUT they were discontinued. The "Gloria" was suggested in their place so I bought them in the color "Sangria" size S. I'm 5'3 about 125 lbs and they fit me like a pair of favorite jeans yet they're stretchy and comfortable, they do NOT restrict my movements at all! They stayed warm and dry (--altho I do always wear a pair of fleece pajama pants under all my snowboard pants.) I attached a photo for reference, tho the color doesn't quite show very well in it. I LOVE these pants JUST AS MUCH as my "Karma"s and I would HIGHLY recommend them to all!
good for petite(ish) people!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I'm 5'3" and 100lbs and the xs fit pretty well. They're pretty slim and look nice (still a bit baggy on me but great for layers underneath+extra tightening at the waist is nice!). They're not too long either (worked perfectly with boots). I bought these in the Deja Blue color and it's as shown (and really pretty!!). The Lemon Pop looks like faded yellow in the picture but as a warning, it's NOT FADED!! It's definitely bright yellow. Had to return.
Nice but tight
I have a pair of Gloria pants from last year and they are sized quite different. I just recieved a new pair that is fsmaller around the waist and knees-and I'm 5'7" and only weight 130 lbs. I can't imagine how anyone of average size would be able to bend their knees in these. They are very shapely and well made but are for skinner legs than mine, and mine are pretty skinny :-)
Style vs. functionality
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This pants are great when it comes to waterproofing and everyday shredding, but be warned, they are for those with SKINNY legs! I'm an athletic build and normally wear medium pants, they fit fine in the waste and length, but they were WAY too tight in the knees and thighs. I could've worn them but for me it's functionality not style. It was difficult to bend around and have a lot of movement in these pants.
Finally found a pant I like
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've been searching for years to try to find a pant that I like, that's long enough for me as well. I finally found that with these. I bought them in the middle of last season, and I love them! They're not super warm (which I like because it allows layering) but they definitely hold up to being water resistant. The only sad part about my purchase was that because I'd waited so long into the season to get them, I was left with the size option of L. I could've gone with a M (I'm 5'7" and roughly 145) but I bought a sweet belt and they'll do for now!
what is the inseam?
what is the inseam?
Depending on your size, the inseam will vary.
LOVE IT !
AAAAA there are so many things I love about this pant. One its stretch it fits amazing !!! Ill be honest I have small hips and a bigger butt and this pant fit me perfectly. Its hard to find a good fit out there thank god for stretch! The fact that its bluesign and has perfectly placed cargo pockets are small added bonuses. Its is a shell so make sure you have the right layers on when your out there on colder days! My number one pant ! I actually paired this pant with the twc wanderlust jacket and im obsessed with my kit!
