Burton Hellbrook Pant - Men's - 2012

The Burton Hellbrook Pant's Signature Fit falls nicely between thug-loose and hipster-tight so you can let your riding style speak for itself. The Hellbrook is packing all the features you need without a bunch of crap that you don't, so it's light on your butt and your wallet.

  • DryRide 15K waterproof membrane keeps you dry and comfortable
  • Fully taped seams eliminate waterproofing weak spots
  • Strategically placed taffeta and mesh panels help your body regulate its temperature comfortably
  • Crossflow vents allow you to dump heat quickly
  • Anti-scuff cuffs with elevators keep your cuffs from getting dirty and shredded in the parking lot
  • Set-and-Forget ghetto slits allow you to decide how open you want your cuffs without worrying about them opening all the way
  • Large thigh cargo pockets so you can carry your essentials

Bottom Line: You're here to ride, not pose.

4 days at Whistler-Blackcomb

Pants held up great. Weather varied from somewhat cold (10F) and windy all the way up to 45F and sunny at the bottom, these pants never caused me any problems. The cuffs can be pulled up easily with a clip in one of the pockets which is great for walking around the village. Seem to be very durable and maintain a comfortable temperature throughout a long day on the mountain.

Waterproofing and Venting

By:
October 5, 2012

When it’s puking snow, breathable shell pants are mandatory. So is venting. The men's Burton Hellbrook Pant combines both in a highly waterproof design that gets pros like Kazu Kokubo through everything from gripping Alaskan spines to bulletproof pipes. Test-I-Cool venting—one zip that runs knee to knee—is like a/c for your extremities while Mid Fit styling gives it a more tailored and progressive street-inspired look.
