i had a pair of burton gore-tex gloves before i bought these, and it appears as though they made a few slight (but critical, for me) changes. the one change that really irked me was that the gauntlet is shorter by an inch or so. with my old pair i never had to worry about getting snow into my sleeves/gloves once in cinched them down. with the new pair (with the shorter gauntlet) ive noticed that after a while the glove will slip off my sleeve just enough to allow some moisture into my sleeve. its not a deal breaker, but pretty frustrating since i dont see the benefit in shortening the gauntlet, and definitely see the problems.
other than that, the gloves are great. they are really warm, and i cant say that ive ever needed the liners (even while out in near sub-zero temps). on the other hand, the liners have been really useful off-mountain as a light glove when i dont need much to keep warm.
Finally found a glove that keeps my fingers warm!

These are Great gloves. With the liners in my fingers are always toasty warm. I will say they run small so get a size up, but other than that, they are perfect! Great for the price in my opinion. I have tried many different gloves in the $50 price range and always got cold fingers eventually, but not with these puppies! My girlfreind has Raynaud's disease so I got her a pair of the Gore-Mitts, and her hands were nice and warm as well, which is very rare!
worth the money

these gloves will keep you dry and warm enough. plenty vents to open if you feel too hot. i love the extra lining that came with it-it has some kind of fabric on its palm where it enhances your grip. worth the money

I'll prob never buy another glove without at least a Gore-Tex insert. Wet hands are no fun. This is my 2nd pair, and these have held up better than the Sessions Gore-Tex ones I had before.

I got these gloves because my hands were constantly getting wet while riding. Instead of my hands getting wet now because of the Gore-tex, the outer glove stays wet and froze in 14 degree weather the last time I went out. Also, the inner glove makes the glove fit tight and my fingers less mobile to strap in my bindings but each glove fits fine individually in size L.

I am a pretty big guy with smaller than average hands. The Xl were way too big; exchanged for the L which fit perfect. Used them every day for a week in Northern Utah. Temp was consistently high teens/low 20's and I didn't have to use the inserts, which are money. Gloves were always dry the next morning. The soft thumb is great for a runny nose, and the vents/pockets are great. Loved these gloves...
Unbelievable

These gloves are unreal. Removeable liner in case your hands start to sweat. They stay dry in wet conditions. Can just wear liner or glove. I could say so many things about these gloves.

These gloves are great, super comfortable and very warm. They come with an inner lining set of gloves too, and I recommend carrying your board with the inner gloves so that you don't wear down or cut up the Gore-Tex gloves.

I wore these for two sunny, but windy days at Tahoe and they kept my hands toasty! No precipitation meant that I couldn't really tell how waterproof they were, but melting snow didn't get the inside wet. It wasn't cold enough to wear the liners that came with these gloves. Convenience comes in being able to wear these over the jacket sleeves instead of under, which makes it easier to put on and pull off.

Be warned, Burton gloves fit small, buy one size up. I have an old pair of Burton gloves and they were a little small and these fit even tighter, so I'm going to return mine and get the next size bigger. This is the only reason I'm giving these a 4 and I may change it later when I actually get to field test the new pair.

Excellent product. Kept my hands warm all day. I usually wear large but purchased XL to accommodate wrist guards. Would recommend this product.

Our first ski trip this season, my boyfriend's hands were just freezing off because... surprise-surprise, his old gloves got soaked through. Well, I just couldn't have my baby's hands all stiff and blue, so, I did some research and some shopping and finally settled on this particular pair of Burton Gore-Tex gloves. Kept his hands really warm, and he didn't even have to use the liners that came with them; not yet, anyway. I have a pair of the same gloves for myself, too. We both appreciate the one handed quick release feature of the gauntlet and wrist elastics. Yeah, they're really nice gloves and worth the expense. I paid full price for them early in the season- now that they're on sale, you all would be stupid NOT to buy them.

I liked these gloves enough to buy a second pair. For some reason the pair I bought this year are huge compared to the ones from 3 years ago. You might consider a size smaller than you would otherwise order. Warm and easy to get into and out of.
Quality product!

I wore these gloves for 2 weeks in Co. never needed the inner glove for extra warmth and stayed plenty dry in the pow. The cinch to keep snow out was super convenient. I use them on a regular basis back home (temps well below 0)and occasionally wear the inner glove, great at retaining heat once moving around in the super cold. Overall well done glove by Burton!
Just what my Boyfriend wanted...

This is my 2nd review for these gloves... just wanted to update. Gave my boyfriend a pair of these last night for his birthday and he just flipped. Just ecstatic about them. He has pretty large hands, however, the XL size fit him perfectly. He liked the gauntlet length; as well as the drawstring features- both easy to release with one hand. I liked them so much, that I bought myself a pair as well! Now we just have to get out and put them to the test on the slopes and see if they live up to our expectations- but frankly, I kind of think they're going to end up exceeding them.

Last ski trip with my boyfriend, my heart broke over his cold wet hands. Just bought these gloves, and they seem like JUST the right thing to solve this nasty little problem. I like them so far, they seem really warm and well made; however, the real test will be when he uses them in freezing weather up on the ski runs. Will update this review after the test is done.
pretty good

satisfied with the gloves but the gauntlet really isn't big enough to be called one.
Gore-Tex keeps the digits dry and they are super warm, no need for liners unless your out in Hoth-like conditions.
