I think they are good, but not long lasting. I have owned Burton and Dakine gloves, and have been thrilled with both, but these particular gloves don't seem to take the abuse as much as others. I haven't even had them a full year, and I'm starting to notice a far amount of wear'n'tear. I would buy again, but also would look at other models.
They are super cool and fluffy i havent used them yet but i think they will do the job perfect;)
Good but could be better
Have had these for a season or 2, found the it hard to fit the provided inner gloves inside of these gloves. The material is tough however not as tough as I was hoping, I drag my finger periodically while boarding & the finger tips are wearing through on the seams however my fingers have yet to get wet. I have also found myself constantly moving my hands/fingers trying to get/keep them warm on lifts. Good gloves, but could be better.
Extremely warm gloves
These gloves are awesome. They are a little snug with the liner but they will stretch out a little over 3 or 4 uses. They are damn near indestructible and perform amazing in cold temps (0-25F). The palm is very rugged and is sick for grabs. The goggle wipe is a nice addition as well. Amazing goggle for the money. I have two pairs (Brown & Black). Well worth it and would definitely recommend to a friend.
This is the first glove i have owned with a liner and it is awesome because if my hands are getting too warm i can pull the gloves off on the way up the lift and keep my hand from sweating. They are a little tight with the liners. I got a large which is my normal size but I feel like i could have up sized and been fine...Only complaint is that when it snows hard my finger tips still get wet..i hate when my hands are freezing...thinking about trying a mitt next year....
will you guys be restocking these gloves...
will you guys be restocking these gloves anytime soon?
Burton Gore-Tex Gloves
Recently received these gloves and used them for the first time about two weeks ago. They did a great jobe keeping my hands warm and dry which had been a problem. The liners are great and when used with the outer glove are extremely worm. One concern is the durability. I tore a small hole in the palm the first time out. Not sure how it happened but it did. All in all they get the job done.
Great until stolen
I used these gloves two times in fifteen to twenty five degree weather while cross country skiing. They seemed to work better in terms of warmth without the liner. Lots of wamn moisture at 25 degrees.
For a more detailed review, you would have to ask the person who stole them from me. They must be good if they are worthy of stealing.
not bad, not great
Got these from brociety, so I really can't complain about the price, but they seemed pretty bulky yet weren't as warm as I hoped.
Tight fit with the liner
Nice glove overall, but a real tight fit with the liner. You can upsize, but I already wear an XL and the glove itself without the liner fits well.
A wrist guard will definitely not fit while wearing both the liner and glove. Alas, the glove is warm in itself, but would consider the gore-tex "over glove" if I had been aware of fitment.
Where is this goggle wipe?
Where is this goggle wipe?
If you look closely in the photo, you can see a raised panel on the left index finger. It is made of the soft chamois material and provides you with the means for quick windshield wipes.
