Burton Hail Snowboard Boot - Men's - 2010

The Burton Hail Snowboard Boot delivers the mobility and cushioning you need to get nasty in the park. Thanks to the new Flex Notches and 270° Airbag, you can grab crail and land way out in the flats without sweating it.

  • Flex Notches facilitate side-to-side movement for tweaked-out grabs and locked-in presses
  • Flex Spine Backstay balances heelside support and a soft, forgiving flex
  • 270° Airbag Cushioning and Park 2 footbed dampen rough landings and choppy snow
  • Stay-Puft tongue features extra padding and a progressive flex for smoother, kink-free movement

Bottom Line: It's not a real Japan if that knee isn't tucked.

a little "toe" tight for me

By:

i got the 7.5 (which is my normal size) and my big toe was a little crammed in the toe of the boot. wish a size 8 in the hail restricted was available! good looking boot all around, though. great features and solid fit other than being slightly smaller than expected.

Hail

By:

All Hail the Hail, this boot is the freestyle riders dream. It's a medium flex that will break in on the softer side. This boot helps the likes of Mikkel Bang, chuck his meat over and down some of the biggest features this side of the universe. You can take this boot anywhere on the mountain, but just keep in mind the Hail really likes the park, and urban exploring; so don't starve it.

The restricted version is always a bit better, as in more tech for the same price. This year the restricted hail has the EST sole, this is a flatter more skate shoe like sole, and it is a lot lighter than the regular hail.

Boots

They were really stiff and tight when I first put them on. I was afraid I'd bought them too small but after they broke in they loosened up a bit and were really comfortable as well as warm. I really like the smaller footprint.

Super comfy liners

The Burton Hail has been around for years now, and every year it is more refined. If you are looking for a medium to softer flexing boot, with one of the most comfortable liners ever, this is it. The Flex 2 liner will mold to your foot and keep you comfy for hours on hill. I found this boot to fit true to size. I wear a size 9.5 shoes (vans etc.) and the 9.5 Hail fits great!
