Burton Custom Smalls or Burton Flying V if you like burton or have rode one before and like them. Otherwise the Gnu Danny Kass mini BTX would work.

This board will be great when your finding 1st descents in the back country. This board will find the best lines both in park and the backcountry. Enjoy the shred.

Of course it is ok for you. If you weight is in the correct range then you will be fine. People are dumb and they don't write the best reviews sometimes. You are all good with this deck.
