Great Gloves

Very functional gloves. Kept the fingers warm but good breathability. Very secure wrist guard and knuckle guards. Only down side is that they are an under the jacket glove not gauntlet over style. Overall, very pleased with the product and would buy again.

Glovular Impactification a Success

These gloves are tight. I've got some aftermarket titanium in both bones of my left forearm and really liked the way the wrist support in the Burton Impact Gloves protected that area. I didn't need to be favoring that arm while concentrating on the mountain and these gloves really did the trick. They were the only gear I bought at full price this year and was glad I did. The only drawback is that they were a little difficult to get on and off - but that just kept me from being the dude who dropped his cellphone off the lift.

Great Gloves - Snug Fit

I bought them because I was tired of the hassle of using wrist guards, glove liners, and gloves all at the same time. These gloves simplify the whole thing.

When I first tried them on, they seemed a little more snug than I expected and I was concerned that I would not be able to fit my glove liners inside. However, the snug fit is important to get the wrist protection these gloves offer. I used them for a week in Utah with lots of powder (and a good amount of cold and wind) and they were plenty warm and dry even without glove liners.

A lot less hassle, great protection, comfortable and convenient. I am really glad I got them.

By the way, I met an employee from this store on one of the lifts at the Canyons. A cool dude too. Glad to see you guys out using what you sell. Keep up the great work.

these are good gloves - i do bruise the upper part of my wrist when i fall hard because it hits the plastic wrist guard but it's not as bad as a broken wrist - very warm gloves as well

The glovemaker at Burton is looking out for us.

Less money than a hospital bill for a broken wrist...these gloves are well worth the money. I had regular wrist guards under my gloves before, and they were so bulky and uncomfortable. These gloves are a much better choice. They aren't bulky, and while they are stiff to protect your wrists, they're not uncomfortable at all. They're as warm as my fleece lined gloves, and waterproof. The picture makes the fingers look like something out of Robocop, but they’re comparable to the fingers on my regular pair of gloves. Plus Burton put little bungees on the end of the gloves so you can hook them to your sleeves.

Exactly as promised

Really warm, and definitely keep your wrists in check. Be sure you have a coat to go over top of them, if you plan on only wearing a t-shirt they may stand out as a little awkward.

These gloves are awesome and provide great protection for my wrists. They keep my hands warm too on even the coldest of days. Try them and you won't be sorry! Wurd

burton impact gloves pretty cool

These gloves are pretty badass. They are warm (I do use undergloves for them though), and they also keep my hands warm today, and I was using them in up to negative 10 degrees. They also breath better than any gloves I've had before too, and I haven't had any moisture on my hands when taking them off so far. I haven't taken any major spills yet, but they seem like they were pretty sturdy and will protect me from another broken wrist. Overall, they're definitely worth $80 to protect you.
