Great for those first few days of the season where you are trying to get back in the groove and may be pushing that little bit too hard. When its icy I pull these gloves out of the bag. Not the best glove for cold conditions though as the inners wear quickly and lose their warmth.
awesome gloves, best ever had.
fits great, strap goes around for perfect fit.
front and back wrist guard support is awesome! it is more of the flexible type so its not hard on the wrist.
had no problem with its liners.. however i do dry it after each use dry-guy transporter http://www.rei.com/product/777405
Great pro great gloves
I tend to drag my back hand on hard front side turns doing wrist jams. Tried them out in some fresh knee deep pow last week for the first time and was able to lay it down hard with no worries.
Great gloves, great pro
Great Idea, crappy liner
When i first received these gloves i was stoked. they fit great and kept my hands warm except around the 0F mark. The liners are not removable, which would be fine, but with a little hand sweat the liner pulled inside out as the glove was removed. after about 15 days the finger tips began to break down internally and by about 25 days fingers in both hands were resting in the shell.
I am not the biggest fan of burton gear. Im not a fan at all, actually. but after trying the Biomex wrist guard on Level gloves, i really wish Burton had their crap together on the liners of these gloves, the Burton wrist guard is solidly built, and felt much safer than the Level wrist guards.
They could be a bit warmer and are slightly bulky, but those are my only semi-negatives. The wrist protection is great. Toe side slipped out from under me on some ice and when I caught myself my wrists didn't get jammed. I'd definitely recommend them.
Got the 08s last year and they started ripping on the inside, dogfunk refunded me and i got this years model. Great glove, a bit bulky but i have big hands anyways. Kinda pissed about this years color choice and style last years was 10 times better. But all in all good glove to have, ill probably pick up another glove just to have for when i wanna casual ride.
