Striking fear into the hearts of jib features everywhere.

The Burton Infidel Binding is designed specifically with hard-way-spinning, nose-pressing, ollie-popping park sharks in mind. The medium flex handles most anything on the mountain, but it really comes into its own when you start looking at the mountain like a skatepark. That's thanks in part to the softer flexing base plate, and it gets a boost from the super-tweakable Gumbo Hi Back. The Lushstrap heel straps and Primo Capstrap toe straps fight foot fatigue, no matter how many laps you crank out in a day. The bombproof nylon composite base plate gives you a responsive ride without sacrificing freestyle freedom. Re:Flex technology incorporates a minimized base plate, which lets your board flex naturally, instead of creating dead spots under your feet. The Gumbo high back can be set up with zero forward lean, and that means more balance while you're dialing in that back lip through the double kink.

Just got em today and already I'm in love the colors are on point. These bindings are just what I'm looking for to take my park riding to the next level.

Clean and fresh!!!

just received these today and fresh out the box I notice that they look even better in person. Super clean. Nothing too fancy. Highback is soft and flexy for locked in, steezy jibs and presses. Putting these through some heavy park and street riding this season!

Price point jib binding

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First off, these bindings aren't bad- you simply get what you pay for. Not a ton of cash flow and you like jibbing everything in the park? These will be awesome for you. The highback is extremely flexible- you can practically fold it upon itself, but it still holds well leaning back into it. I enjoyed riding these bindings, but the ratchets ate through the ladders in less than a week. Not sure if it was just the preproduction model, or if they all ended up like that, but that was my largest issue with these. Also keep in mind, these bindings utilize Re:Flex baseplates, which I also dislike because the Re:Flex baseplate does not allow for many stance options- basically you can put them in the pre-drilled holes in your board, but no fine tuning.

Medium Runs Small

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

strapped on the Medium Militants with a size 10 Rome boot... the front cap strap only clicked into the 2nd notch, and that was a very tough click. I'm sure with some wear they'd stretch out for ease and comfort but definitely returning for a set of Large's.

Other than that, killer swag man. One thing I noticed is that the tan is lighter than pictured, doesnt degrade from the binding but just something to point out.
