Ultra-light, ultra-responsive and insanely comfortable, the Ion is the only way to go for team riders Jussi, Powers, Tadashi, Mads and many more. This year, Burton updated the Ion with an ultra-light mesh skin shell to drop weight while adding strength. Slip into your boots, secure the Burton Speed Zone lacing system, and leave your bros to tightening their clunky boots in the parking lot. This lacing system combines a pull chord and an asymmetrical synthetic wrap shell so you can independently dial the fit of the upper and lower sections. Inside the tech shell, an Imprint 4 Liner uses J-Bars to lock down your heel, and Outlast technology to keep your feet comfortable in any temperature. A molded EVA footbed, internal shank and air cushioned outsole support and cushion your feet if you overshoot the transition in the park. Available for US Shipment Only.**DISCONTINUED**

I have ridden Ions for the last 4 seasons. I ride 100+ days a year and these are the best boots I have found. The fit is great and the support is also. I don't know how so many people are breaking their laces. Mine last at least a season and Burton will replace them free of charge if they break. Once again these boots are all-mountain slayers!

I just got these boots and Burton has really stepped it up on these this year. With the Outlast Imprint 4 liner, a articulated ankle cuff on these boots and a super smooth design, these boots are where it is at. The liner is heat moldable so you get that perfect fit. These start out feeling like a 7 in stiffness but they will pack down to about a 6, so dont get anxious when you put them on, after about 20 rides, these will be set to go!
