Next-level response for all-mountain assaults.
Worn by the likes of Mark McMorris and Danny Davis for their all-terrain freestyle riding, the Burton Ion Men's Snowboard Boot delivers next-level response for sending huge hits, popping powdery pillows, and carving down the mountain with gusto. This hard-charging boot is stuffed with performance and comfort-enhancing tech, allowing you to ride all season without painful pressure points or sloppy performance.
Speed Zone Lacing independently tightens the upper and lower zones with the simple tug of a handle. The Infinite Ride 4 liner uses moisture-wicking DryRide Hyperwick mesh at the toe box, helping to regulate your foot's temperature by pulling sweat away from the skin. Additionally, this high-end, heat-moldable liner is constructed with Tuff Cuff for increased heel hold, wrapping the ankle with medial and lateral support for a dialed-in fit that's not too restrictive.
New for this year, Burton added a Firm Flex PowerUp Tongue for greater rebound and durability and Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil that keeps your feet toasty in the coldest of conditions. Furthermore, the Ion's AutoCant EST sole naturally conforms to a relaxed position with its dual-density EVA, allowing you to ride longer without foot fatigue or nasty hotspots.

High-end boots = top level performance
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
There's a reason why these boots cost twice as much as other boots in their category, and like the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." The materials and subtle details that go into this boot make it what it is, a comfy performance powerhouse. These are my 2nd pair of Ions and they are the best boots I've ever owned in 25+ years of riding.
The level of comfort, adjustability, and stiffness is unbeatable. After a few tough days of breaking in, they felt as nice as my old Ions. You can micro-dial in the inner liner and outer liner to whatever feels good. I'd highly recommend these boots if you want a stiff, comfortable boot that will easily last a few hundred days of shredding.
