Description

Be king of the mountain with this Burton freeride machine.

The Burton King Snowboard gives the big-footed ruler a twin-tipped freeride board that reigns supreme over any terrain. Whether you head into the deeps, cruise the groomers, or own the terrain park, this all-mountain board's forgiving flex, durable base, and easy-riding twin shape will take you to the next level. The King Snowboard's Super Fly wood core provides great board feel and powerful pop, while its Dual Zone EGD construction positions the wood grain along the toe and heel edges for incredible control. Burton constructed this wide ride for big dudes who demand performance, but don't want to break the bank. We can't guarantee you'll receive a specific color (these boards come to us randomly), but we know you'll dig it. *Available for US Shipment Only.

My husbands 6'4" 190 pounds so I think the Burton King would be perfect for him. I'm just not sure if I can just buy any Burton boots and bindings? Or is there certain ones that would work best? Help Please!!!

I'm almost the exact size and I got the Burton Bullett 164cm. It doesn't have as much flex as some ppl like but I love it. As far as bindings and boots go, Burton's warranty is void if you use any other brand bindings on the board itself. For boots it really doesn't matter what brand, I prefer 32 ultra-lite - they're really comfortable and can be heat molded to his feet, but that's just me.

Most boards, as far as I know, don't REQUIRE certain binding. Burton's warranty requires you to use Burton bindings otherwise the warranty is void. Beyond that, bindings are pretty much like boots, it all depends on the rider.

WHO CARES ABOUT SCRATCHES???

First I wanna say that this board is great for us bigger dudes... it floats right through freshie and has plenty of pop for the park. Responsiveness could be a little better, but then again it is a Wide, and for the price I ain't complaining. For all of you complaining about a few scratches on your board, get over it! Are you out on the mountain to show off your pretty gear, or are you there to SHRED?? If your board doesn't have some battle scars then you need to RIDE HARDER!!! As long as your edges aren't popping, who cares?? No one but your mom.

Yep, scratches like a cat

Very stable board. I would recommend not riding it late in the season when everything is slushy and icy. Seems to lack the smoothness to blast through the crap.

It does scratch. 3 times and the top looks like I'm priming it to be painted... I like the board and will still use it regardless of the scratches.

Good so far

I haven't gotten to take my new board out yet, but the description definitely is accurate. I bolted my bindings on and strapped in and this is definitely a wide enough board if you are concerned about toe-drag. Also, the color of the board is based on the size, so if you were wondering about that, now you know. Also, you can't tell from the picture detail, but you can actually see the wood core through the clear epoxy on the top of the board...that's a really cool feature. My friends saw it and were immediately saying, "That's really cool!" I hope it is all I want when it comes to the slopes next season.

Perfect for big guys with big feet

I'm 6'8", 230lbs and wear size 47 boots so i needed a large and long board. This board is perfect for me. I can place the rear binding at 90 degrees and not worry about dragging. Pretty neat.
