Description

Hard charging response for women who kill it.

The Burton Lexa EST Women's Snowboard Binding brings tons of tech to the table, for a package that caters expressly to the needs of ladies who shred hard. It has an EST baseplate, which works in conjunction with The Channel mounting system to let the binding to flex with your board, instead of creating dead spots under your feet. Naturally, you'll find some of the most comfortable straps in snowboarding. It gets even better with the addition of Heel Hammock. It's a rubberized cradle on the high back that locks your heel in place, without resorting to cranking down your straps. It all adds up to a package that's crazy responsive and super comfortable. Which is probably why more women on Burton's team choose the Lexa than any other binding.

  • Canted asymmetrical Living Hinge Zero-Lean Hi Back with Heel Hammock
  • EST baseplate with 30% short glass/nylon construction
  • AutoCANT SensoryBED cushioning system
  • Reactstrap asymmetrical heel strap
  • Gettagrip Capstrap toe strap
  • Smooth Glide buckles
  • Tool-free forward lean adjust
  • Compatible with 3 and 4 hole snowboards

Easy install

  • Gender: Female

Haven't had the chance to use these on my new board yet (2014 Deja Vu Flying V), but the install was super simple thanks to the channel/est design. I used my old bindings on my new board until my new bindings came in.

I ordered the M for size 8 boots, then got new boots that were 8.5, so I had to upgrade the binding to a large to fit the gas pedal. I'm a little nervous about using these for the first time since I had to pull the gas pedal all the way out in order to fit my boot and not have the gas pedal ramp up into my toes. Makes me wonder either how anyone with over a size 8.5 boot would use them, or if I'm possibly doing something wrong. I foresee some last minute adjustments on the mountain (hooray, bullet tool)! Hopefully, all will be OK! If not, I'll throw on my old bindings and rethink these.

I'll try to update this after I give them a test run.

Tried and true!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Year after year, the Lexa binding continues to be one of the best women's snowboard bindings out there! Love the EST technology, the purple is a great color, and the performance is top notch!
