Description

Re-writing the current state of women's riding—again.

The Burton Lexa Re:Flex has not only survived trends in the binding world but has dictated them and helped to redefine women's snowboarding through its women-specific True Fit geometry and cush under-foot dampening.

  • Canted Living Hinge highback is anatomically engineered for a women-specific fit and uses a freestyle-friendly Zero-Lean design
  • Heel Hammock places a rubber safety-net like band around the heel cup to suspend and cradle the heel of your boot for improved response in and out of turns and also lets you wear straps looser due to its secure hold
  • Re:Flex short-strand fiberglass and nylon composite base plate uses a lightweight minimized baseplate and Living Hinge disc that features a split design for uninterrupted board flex
  • AutoCANT FullBed cushioning provides full-length dampening under your boot and B3 gel in the heel for bruise-preventing comfort developed with big landings in mind
  • GettaGrip Capstrap encompasses the toe box of your boot with a pressure-free design that grips and holds your foot in place
  • Superstrap ankle strap uses a 3D-curved triple axis spine and NeoPadding for firm-but-gentle support and a broken-in feel right out of the box
  • New dual-component Smooth Glide buckles are the smoothest, most secure, and most intuitive buckles yet
  • DialFLAD foward lean adjustment custom tunes your desired level of forward lean with no tools required, just the turn of a dial
  • Women-specific True Fit design was made with women's narrower boots in mind as well as strap placement for boot laces and board dimensions
  • Waste-reducing fabrication uses re-ground materials in the highback and baseplate

I picked up the Union Milans last season to replace my Burton Stilettos. I was not impressed by the toe strap on the Unions and didn't have the same flex and response as I had with Burton. I picked up the Lexas this year and unfortunately am still seeing a little play in the cap strap sliding up over my toe a little, but it is not enough for me to be bothered. The heel hammock does make a difference and it took 2 days for me to get used to this different feel and response. At first, it was uncomfortable when on toe side and difficult to engage that turn, but once you get used to the new feel, they are very playful and a soft, fun ride.

i just bought this last week and its great! it goes with my board and makes it look sick! these bindings are by far my favorite:) one other thing i have to say is the grip tht it has for the heel keeps ur foot in so much better! and the straps never get clogged up when huge chunks of snow get stuck in them so this is obviously quality work!

Comfort and performance is what will win your heart over. Re think flexability with the Re: Flex! Added response around the heal of your boot with the Heal Hammock lets you run your straps a little looser and still get the response you are looking for.
