Burton Lush Jacket - Women's - 2008

Lest the faux fur trim on the Burton Women’s Lush Jacket makes people think you’re a beater chilling in the lodge, zip up this Thermacore-insulated, double-layered Dryride Burton jacket and prove them wrong. The Burton Lush Jacket is plush with design features that accommodate you if you’re strolling down Main Street or charging down your favorite run, from its slim fit to its taped seams. Even small details like adjustable cuff closures and a microfleece chin saver make you more comfortable, which means more time on the mountain. **DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line: Ride responsibly. No one likes a lush on the mountain.

Sweet jacket <3

By:

This is a very warm and very flattering jacket that looks awesome on and off the slopes. I love all of the secret pockets in it and the sleeves are the perfect length, if anything I would say on the longer side, which I appreciate. Maybe that previous reviewer bought a size too small.

Sleeves too short

By:
October 22, 2009

The sleeves on this jacket are too short! They will move up your wrist/arm when you extend your arms. If you plan on layering the jacket with other long-sleeved things it might not be a problem.

Otherwise the jacket fit well and was form flattering. I am 5'4" and 100 pounds, size small fit.

not bad but not in love

cute fit, i get a lot of compliments when i wear it. but the pocket problem is true. the jacket is so fitted that it's hard to stow things in your pockets(example, camera or tools). if you're headed out for a light day it's great

So Cute

By:
February 2, 2009

I love this jacket! It's very flattering and I get tons of compliments. My only complaint is that it is snugly fitted, so if I have a bunch of stuff in the pockets I can feel it. Other than that, its very warm for the weight and always feels comfortable.

The Lush jacket runs small - or at least slim. I wear small sized tops (and sport some D cups), and the small Lush jacket was too tight. It wasn't just the girlz that were uncomfortable, either - my shoulders were too broad and arms too big. Ultimately, a medium would have fit me (I tried these on in the store last season). As far as the pants go, I wear a size 8 or so on the bottom, and my Lush pants are a small. My experience with Burton pants is that they run a bit large in the waist. If it'll help you... I'm 5'3 and weigh 135lbs. I usually wear either a 6 or 8 in jeans and a medium or small on top.

Great jacket needs a few tweaks

By:
December 2, 2008

The color and fit are beautiful and the fur hood is stylish, warm and roomy. My biggest complaint is that the cuffs do not tighten, making it very difficult to get gloves over the cuffs. Even when my gloves were cinched (I tried both under and over the cuffs) I ended up with cold, wet wrists as the sleeves came loose. If Burton added some velcro to the cuffs, I might be persuaded to re-buy this jacket.

Wife jsut got this in the mail, fits well for her size, a little long in the sleeves.

Near deal breaker: no hand cover inside the sleeves but most importantly CUFFS ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE. Overall, she likes the style, fit, and pockets.

cute but...

By:
October 6, 2009

this jacket is very cute! I love how it is form fitted but unfortunately that's about all this coat has going for it. like some of the other reviews said the pockets are very shallow. things would just slip out if you didn't zip them and then you cant even fit very much in them. and then the cuffs don't tighten like they said. so basically i think it could be cute if your not doing anything but walking around in the snow but as far as using it on the mountains in Montana, i think not.. Oh and the sizing to me seemed ok, I wear a small in coats usually and i got a medium according to the reviews and i think if i kept it i would have needed a small.

srsly... your mom wants you to have this jacket

This is the jacket that keeps on giving. The color, fit and quality make this jacket worth the price. Everytime I wear this jacket I find a new secret pocket to stash things away. It's so cute that I wear it as a winter jacket on some fickin' cold days and it keeps me warm with the fur hood and all. Armpit vents are nice for when you get warm while boarding. Also, the powerskirt is very nice (there are multiple snap buttons so I can make the jacket appear more fitted) and it keeps snow owt. If anything, the size may run a little big so if you're in between sizes you may want to go smaller.

burton lush

the jacket is pretty warm, which is surprising since it's not heavy. glad the fur is detachable esp since it wasn't an attractive accessory. there are a lot of pockets but most of them are very shallow. i had my ipod in one of them and it always slips out. stylish and form fitting jacket, but not a must-have

Cute and Comfortable!!

By:
March 13, 2009

I read the previous reviews about this jacket and how some people went with the large over the medium. I got the large because I normally fit in the medium and didn't want it to be too tight, but once I tried it on, the bottom winged out on me and did not look right- I was just too small for the large, my mistake in getting that size. But aside from that, the length is everything I wanted! It is a very comfortable jacket with unique pockets. I would recommend this jacket to a friend. It is cute, warm, and stylish. Definatelly a great fit for those snowboarders who want added length and a more taylored fit! I love this jacket!
