You Must Layer
I have worked in shops for several years and every year I get the same complaint from woman.
Im cold. I hate being cold so I rarely go , well ladies with every problem there is usually a solution. I found with most woman who complained of being miserable because of the cold they were forgetting one key ingredient LAYERING!! These women were forgetting layering pieces and were riding in cotton hoodies or even everyday attire. None of these pieces keep moisture away from the body and provide warmth. In fact cotton is the worst material to have on your skin when snowboarding. Burton lightweight, mid-weight and heavy weight tops and bottoms can help. These pieces will keep you warm and allow you to feel less like that little boy from the Christmas Story. Anyway, just trust me on this it will be the best investment ever.
I just bought this full first layer and I absolutely love it. The fabric is so incredibly soft! I'm 1.70m/63kg and M fits perfectly. (I wanted to mention this since I always have the "Would it fit me?" problem.) The fabric is elastic so if you don't get the size right, there's no problem.
I didn't have the chance to try it on slopes but I bet it does its job perfectly.
