Burton's board engineers pulled out all the stops while creating the Method Snowboard - quite possibly the lightest, fastest, and most technologically advanced snowboard on the planet. New for 2011, the Method features Burton's award-winning Flying V hybrid-rocker shape for a forgiving yet powerful ride that makes short work of any terrain. Although we'd probably stay away from rails...you wouldn't enter an Italian sports car in a demolition derby, would you?
- Alumafly aluminum honeycomb core is 90% air by volume with an engineered flex pattern for reliable pop and edge-to-edge response
- Flying V hybrid shape places camber under your bindings, with rocker between your feet & in the tip/tail for a catch-free ride that won't wash out
- Stainless-steel Frostbite edges resist corrosion and extend out slightly in binding zones for enhanced grip on firm snow

Rode the method 162 (I normally ride a 159) at the burton demo at mammoth today. It is very light but besides that it is lack luster. The pop is a little squirly, the edge hold leaves a little to be desired as well. That being said, you can ride a longer length and it feels a whole lot shorter, I have never been able to throw around such a long deck with such ease. And the base on this deck is FAST!
Conclusion, it is by no means the best board out on the market, I expected much more with the price tag.

I ride the 2010 Method with CO2 EST bindings, and all i can say this board carves like its on rails no matter the conditions, floats through powder, and is super light through the air.

For the person that wants everything in one, the Method really does have the best, of the best, of the best, sir. With flying-V and all the top end material this ride is unlike any other. Enough said on this board it rides like a dream and your methods will definitely see an improvement.

When I took it out the first time in broke...
I got a new one now but not impressed...
